I'll pass. I could care less. Really.

Getting to be an old fart, are you? I've got you beat. I've still got plenty of fucks left; I can even still do it twice! (fall of the year is the best though)

You aren't doing it wrong if no one knows what you are doing.
This afternoon draft legislation leaked that right-wing politicians are touting as a “fix” to HB 2. It doesn’t restore any of the employment protections that HB 2 abolished. Municipalities will still be unable to pass their own non-discrimination ordinances. And it requires transgender North Carolinians to register with the state to use the bathroom.
There are several yellow badges; to which are you referring?
My question to Vrede too was in reference to his implying certain individuals should wear pink triangles; a reference to homosexuality or feminism, as a sign of shame. That goes contrary to his vehemently supporting of homosexuality.

Yellow Stars of David. Did my "forced to wear pink triangles" post in response to the transgender registration proposal befuddle Seth Milner? He seems to get awful flustered when LGBTQ is the topic, hmmm.

No. Just trying to clarify what you meant. No flustering here. You are such a staunch advocate for LGBTQ, yet it appears you insinuated the wearing of pink (which is generally associated with homosexuality or feminism) is an act of shame, and should be ridiculed. Open mouth and insert foot . . .

Well, I checked to see what idiocy Seth Milner could be up to now and I wasn't disappointed. I "insinuated" no such thing, he utterly fails English again.
On Seth Milner's miserable, hateful, bigoted and cretinous planet:
The LGBTQ who were forced to wear pink triangles were the shameful ones, not the Nazis.
The Jews who were forced to wear Yellow Stars of David were the shameful ones, not the Nazis.
Rape victims are the shameful ones, not their rapists.
Molested children are the shameful ones, not the pedophiles.
NC transgenders that would be forced to register with the state, like LGBTQ and Jews were forced to register by the Nazis along with being forced to wear pink triangles and Yellow Stars of David, would be the shameful ones, not the NC Leg.
This next logical step that went sailing over Seth Milner's head isn't a huge leap. State registration accomplishes nothing unless there's some visible identifier to show wannabe bathroom cops like Seth Milner. Maybe we need to force bigots like him to wear, say, a flaming cross so that we can keep them out of decent people's bathrooms.
Is Seth Milner really so astoundingly stupid or is this just his desperate, wussy and failed attempt to project his transphobic support for HB2's bigotry upon me? Oh wait, the latter would also be astoundingly stupid, too. I know, we can mandate dunce cap badges, not to keep the Seth Milners out of bathrooms but so we can make them use their own stalls and urinals to save the rest of us from dealing with their wet seats and side splash.
Your words are so heartfelt and inspiring that I feel the the need to go find a soapbox and stand on it and can sing
"Oh say can you see, Kumbaya, and Let us Break Bread Together".
You're an idiot as well as a fine one to call someone a wuss; you're the epitome of a big wuss yourself: "Well, I checked to see what idiocy Seth Milner could be up to . . ." Only a common wuss would attempt to make everyone believe you have someone on ignore, then sling insulting words at them. You poor widdle victim, you. <sniff>
"miserable, hateful, bigoted and cretinous . . . wannabe bathroom cops like Seth Milner . . . bigots like him . . . so astoundingly stupid . . . desperate, wussy and failed attempt . . . transphobic support . . ." Have you been hanging out in highway rest areas again? You'd think a health professional would know you can pick up some atrocious nastiess there!
Your turn.

Subject: General Assembly Bulletin July 2, 2016 From: Rep. Chuck McGrady <McGradyla@ncleg.net>
H 2 Fix. Much speculation focused on whether the General Assembly would make any changes to H 2 [Public Facilities Privacy & Security Act], the legislature’s response to a Charlotte ordinance which included a provision allowing transgendered people to use bathrooms of their choice. Unbeknownst to most of my constituents, much of my time over the past two months was spend in crafting various legislative options to address this issue, but that will be the subject of a different newsletter.
In the end, we passed H 169 [Restore State Claim for Wrongful Discharge] which simply addresses a small piece of the controversy surrounding H 2. Basically, it restores the state tort claim for wrongful discharge that apparently was repealed by H 2. As reflected in the 85-15 vote in the House, this provision was largely noncontroversial. Probably some Democratic legislators voted against it because they didn’t think this bill was enough. Probably some Republican legislators voted against it because they’d pledged not to change H 2. However, there was really no serious debate over whether the legislature should make this change. It was the change sought by Governor McCrory shortly after he signed H 2 into law. My expectation is there will be more fallout from H 2 in the coming weeks and month leading up to the November elections.
My expectation is that the boycotts will continue. I have no prediction whether NC voters will hold the GOP accountable for its bigotry and harm to the economy, but it's interesting that McGrady thinks they will.
Tell the National Collegiate Athletic Association:
“An organization responsible for the welfare of the nation’s college student-athletes should not host or participate in events in any state that officially sanctions discrimination based on sexual orientation or gender identity. Stop hosting NCAA events in North Carolina until its discriminatory anti-LGBT laws are repealed.”
McCrory is an idiot. Starting as a pretty decent Charlotte mayor, he flipped quickly to the dark side of the howling moon when he got to be Governor. But despite that, he was on some really sharp horns of dilemma with the bathroom bill. He could veto it or sign it, but it was going through anyway. His veto would have been over-ridden in that lunatic asylum euphemistically called the NC Legislature. He had to decide whether (a) voters would have a short memory by November; (b) a majority of voters might actually like HB2; (c) how much damage would it do to him to get over-ridden on that bill, or conversely how much political capital could he get out of vetoing it even if he was over-ridden. I think he picked the wrong hill to die on, but once picked, he pretty much had to defend it. And has to know he's looking stupider by the day.

Why, if I was you, I'd shoot him a hate email or start a petition drive! I just wouldn't put up with that if I were you!
Get Vrede to show you how to proceed with your choice; he's the expert on these matters.

I'm pretty sure McCrory gets his share of hate mail, and there have been petitions galore as well as economic sanctions. The only cure is available in November, and has a good chance to be a successful removal of at least one idiot from the village.

That would be our governor.
