Here's a headline that no one would have predicted 3 weeks ago:
It kept me up.CSU-Colorado draws late-night record 9.3M viewers on ESPN
Colorado's double-overtime victory against Colorado State, which ended in the early hours of Sunday in most of the country, drew 9.3 million viewers to make it the most-watched late-night college football game ever on ESPN.
Coach Deion Sanders' Colorado team did not kick off until after 10 p.m. ET and did not secure the victory until about 2:30 a.m.
Still, it was ESPN's fifth-most-watched regular-season game ever on the network for any time slot. That broadcast window for ESPN college football averaged about 1.7 million viewers last year.
It also was the most-streamed regular-season college football game of all time for ESPN.
No. 19 Colorado's first two games under Sanders were carried by Fox, with both slotted into the network's Big Noon game. The Buffaloes' victories over TCU and Nebraska averaged about 8 million viewers for Fox....

Cinderella CO could end up 3-6, along with whatever happens with its unranked opponents.
Colorado has kept all the receipts in the 2023 season
... CU is just the fourth team, and the first since 2008, to start a season 3-0 following a season in which it lost 11 or more games....
Much was written and said about Sanders' offseason overhaul of the Buffaloes' roster. CU started the season with 86 new players, 10 of whom had followed Sanders from Jackson State. They included Shedeur and Shilo Sanders, two of Deion's children, and former five-star recruit Travis Hunter.
There were questions about the level of competition those players faced, especially those who came from Jackson State, an FCS program. When Shedeur Sanders threw for a school-record 510 yards in the 45-42 win, Deion Sanders' postgame comments were dripping with sarcasm.
"For real? Shedeur Sanders? From an HBCU? The one that played at Jackson last year? The one that you asked me, 'Why would I give him the starting job?'"

Ut-oh, that CO locker room bulletin board has not been working out well for its opponents.... Colorado had the most incoming players to an FBS roster since the inception of the transfer portal in 2018....
