Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

MSNBC says no bathroom breaks.
That's part of the Senate rules.

Media reported at the time that Thurmond sustained himself with "diced pumpernickel and bits of cooked hamburger" and sips of orange juice. His aides set up a bucket in the cloakroom so he could keep a foot on the Senate floor if he needed to relieve himself.
MSNBC says no bathroom breaks.
That's part of the Senate rules.
I would have counted Thurmond's solution as a bathroom break. The article doesn't say whether Thurmond ever did it and doesn't even hint that Booker did.

 It may have to be one of life's mysteries.

I liked him in 2020 but he never caught fire.

Too bad he's not white. :angry-cussing:

Then again, he may be in a good position to succeed Schumer.

Longtime Republican pollster Frank Luntz was so impressed by the record-breaking speech by Sen. Cory Booker (D-N.J.) this week that he thinks the Democratic Party may have a new leader in its midst.

“I want to emphasize what Cory Booker did over the last 24 hours may have changed the course of political history,” he told NewsNation’s Leland Vittert.

DoJ hero:
Justice Department suspends lawyer who criticized Trump administration in deportation case

... During Friday's hearing in a Greenbelt, Maryland, federal court, (Erez) Reuveni expressed exasperation with the unwillingness of the Trump administration ‒ his client ‒ to respond to some of his inquiries and told the judge he had questioned why the government could not bring Abrego Garcia back to the U.S.

"My answer to a lot of these questions is going to be frustrating, and I am frustrated,” Reuveni said. "The government made a choice here to produce no evidence.” ...

:bs: Hero Reuveni DID advocate on behalf of the United States. The actions of InHoman, PINO and Pam Bondage are contrary to the interests of justice, America and its people.

Bakersfield  :happy-cheerleaderkid:

AOC Has A Brutal Read Of Trump Using Just 1 Simple 'Matter Of Fact'
The congresswoman offered a blunt reflection on the president during a rally with Bernie Sanders in Bakersfield, California.

... On Tuesday, Ocasio-Cortez and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) spoke in Bakersfield — which is located in former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy’s old congressional district — as part of their nationwide Fighting Oligarchy tour....

In her speech, the congresswoman pointed out that just three GOP representatives could “still do the right thing” and use their votes to challenge the Trump administration in Congress.

“If you all are able to organize, apply pressure, support the Democratic challenger or the challenger for this seat, we can apply enough pressure to peel off one of those three no’s and it can be the people of Bakersfield who save Medicaid for the entire country,” she stressed.

Democratic Rudy Salas 49,196 48.4%

I can't remember the last RepuQ rally in a blue state. There certainly haven't been any since before the election.
