Sedition

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

21 Republican lawmakers vote against honoring law enforcement for their work during the Jan. 6 Capitol riot

At least my Mad was not as much of an asshole as Lauren Boebert of Colorado, Andrew Clyde of Georgia, Matt Gaetz of Florida, Louie Gohmert of Texas, Paul Gosar of Arizona, Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia, Matt Rosendale of Montana and the others.
A Republican congress(person) refused to shake hands with a DC police officer beaten by Trump loyalists on Jan. 6, according to 2 House members

Guess. Clue: It is one of the 7 that I singled out above because of our personal connections or frequent references to them. :obscene-birdiered:
A different one of the 7 that I singled out above because of our frequent references to him.

Sunday:
Gosar's siblings want their brother kicked out of Congress. They think Democrats are moving too slow.
"I consider him a traitor to this country. I consider him a traitor to his family," Dave Gosar said. "He doesn't see it. He's disgraced and dishonored himself."

Okay, but isn't that a little extreme?

Maybe not. Monday evening:

Whenever some childish pedant whines, “our country is not a democracy,” we know for a fact that he never learned anything after a meaningless factoid in 5th grade Civics, and that he isn’t smart enough to contribute to the discussion at hand.

North Korea is a republic, too.

We live in a democratic republic and we practice democratic action all of the time. Duh.

Rep. Jamie Raskin: Democrats to 'move forward without the Senate' on Jan. 6 investigation

IF the Dems conduct the investigation with transparency, fairness, professionalism, patriotism and limited partisanship, the RepuQs may have screwed themselves. Pelosi (and Schumer?) could even place Repubs that voted for the investigation on the panel.

Pelosi names Cheney (R-WY) to panel investigating Jan. 6 riot

McCarthy, fresh off of meeting with a severely injured Capitol police officer last week, is throwing an unpatriotic, pro-sedition tantrum:

McCarthy reportedly makes 'stark threat' to Republicans over Jan. 6 committee

FBI Washington Field Office Releases New Videos of Suspects in Violent Assaults on Federal Officers at U.S. Capitol, Seeks Public’s Help in Identifying Them

Those are high quality pics/vids. I'll bet that most get eventually IDed.
Oath Keeper charged with conspiracy in U.S. Capitol attack

An Oath Keeper on Tuesday became the latest member of the right-wing group charged with conspiracy for his alleged role in the attack on the U.S. Capitol, as more than 535 people have now been arrested for joining in that deadly violence.

The FBI said about 40 people, including members of the Oath Keepers, Proud Boys and Three Percenters, face conspiracy charges related to the Jan. 6 riot, when hundreds of supporters of then-President Donald Trump stormed the Capitol in an unsuccessful attempt to stop Congress from certifying his election defeat.

Tuesday marked six months since the assault, which the FBI said has also led to more than 165 arrests of people on charges of assaulting, resisting or impeding police officers and other employees of the Capitol, including 50 charged with using a deadly weapon or seriously injuring a police officer.

Five people, including a Capitol Police officer, died in the violence.

Federal prosecutors said David Moerschel, a 43-year-old alleged Oath Keeper from Punta Gorda, Florida, had been arrested and charged with federal crimes including conspiracy and obstruction of an official proceeding....
I'm pretty sure that conspiracy, even conspiracy to commit a misdemeanor, is a felony.

Idk or care, but maybe it's the supporting documentation, not the numbers charged, that's "massive", and they're not all "Men".

I have a Mitsubishi made Plymouth pickup. 2.6 liter, four. Needs a new head (I think). Been parked for about 13 years now. I did drain the oil, just in case.

Bought my 2005 Tacoma new. It's approaching 300,000 miles. I figure me a Toyota both git a decent deal.

Don't forget that it was these Japanese cars that finally shook the "US Mericans only want huge heavy cars and trucks" put of Detroit.
Good to see that they are listening now. Too bad that couldn't figure this one out on their own.
