It's a difficult word. I thought it was slang.

I was assisted by a NUDIE I knew it would never be a Wordle word, but it used the final WoF letter for me, which fit the solution, eliminated the last vowel and accurately located the 3 letters I'd already IDed - success!

More creative than my 3/6 MIDGE which I didn't think would be accepted. At that point i knew it was a funky word that probably started with I and strongly suspected a double letter.
