I was wondering...why isn't the title of this thread,"Republican Witch-Hunters Continue Harassment Over Nothing"? Oh yeah...started by "Reality."

Not that Benghazi was 9/11, or bombing of the Cole, or the latest shooting at a school, but at almost every catastrophic even I can remember, there have been conflicting stories arising from the immediate and subsequent reports.

Shortly before WTC 7 collapsed, a BBC reporter announced that it had collapsed. There are two popular explanations:

1) A BBC reporter, in all the confusion of the day, mistook a report that it was expected to collapse with one that it HAD collapsed. And the reporter - from Britain - did not know all the buildings on the New York skyline, let alone from from two miles away.

2) Before 9/11 the White House sent out a show guide of all the events that would happen that day, to news services in other countries. All those international news services have kept what would be the biggest news story in the world a secret, because they're all in on The Conspiracy. (In addition to the thousands of other people needed for The Conspiracy.) The BBC reporter's mistake was in announcing the collapse too early.

To this day the Alex Jones crowd insists that #2 is the rational explanation. The reporter could not possibly have made a mistake during all the confusion and trauma of 9/11.

Obviously the police were in cahoots with the liberal media to cover up the apparent fact that the shooting was an accident. At least the defendant doesn't seem to be claiming to be standing his ground. Too bad he's not in NC, he could use the "oops" defence.

You have what he said this week. To claim that he changed his story, you have to quote what he said first.
