I wasn't thinking of it in the sense of it being illegal; then it dawned on me that this is a private forums, and not one run by a corporation such as BRN; that's why I questioned the ethics part since you were appointed a moderator.

Web sites that provide geographic locations for IP addresses are largely guessing. And with the internet having run out of IPv4 addresses, the ISPs are moving them around more now.

That a given IP address isn't just used in North Carolina, randomly assigned among 10 million people, but instead used all over the US, randomly assigned among among 315 million people, makes it less likely that you and others forum members randomly get the same IP address at different times.

Thanks, rstrong, for showing that Colonel Taylor's geographic location claim makes it more likely that I am correct. By the same token, the fact that another alias he admits to using is no longer in the Members list adds support to "CENSORED" and "No more KoolAid" being real even though they are also no longer in the Members list.
