African American History

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

Nurse Ratshit is up to her old tricks.

And she positively cannot stand being ignored.

So the best course of action here is just to ignore Nurse Ratshit.

Why you're still here. Why you have consistent failure of comprehension. Maybe you used to comprehend but that all stopped when you got your ass kicked a year or so age. Perhaps if that same person kicked your ass again, you'd be back in gear and what passes for normal. Go for it.

The Rolling Stones wrote a song about you; ".....some useless information supposed to fire my imagination. I can't get no satisfaction." Why are you still here?

Useless does have severe and pitiful comprehension issues, but this is about his cowardice and stupidity. billy.pilgrim undeniably busted him and we can all see it, yet he has neither the brains nor the balls to just fess up and apologize to all of us (besides neoplacebo) for the moronic accusation that we're pro-Repug racists solely because we didn't post an endorsement of neoplacebo - as if he needs the constant validation that Useless desires.

Maybe the song should have been "I Can't Get No Validation" but we'd all have suffered for it.

It's all in the thread. My re-explaining my re-explanation of my re-explanation seems a bit futile at this point.

OK, let me put it this way: If I wrote ANYTHING to offend you, it absolutely was NOT my intention.

I wish you and some others here well. One or two others, not so much.

You really really need to get a 4th grader to explain your own posts to you.

Anyhow, just so we can watch you dig your hole deeper - Who exactly were you stupidly accusing of being pro-Repug racists solely because they didn't post an endorsement of neoplacebo, and what evidence do you have to support that? Don't deflect and/or run shrieking away like you always do.

While you're at it, when will you ever take responsibility for and retract your actually racist and antisemitic posts?

So I finally reviewed this thread.

Tell me if I have this right.

Billy called bs on the test.

O Really made his usual thoughtful and insightful comments on the phoney baloney test. ( I got three right)

Neo commented on the contemporary state of the Republicans as it relates to black history and Ulysses jumped up in agreement (as that had been is original but unsaid point) and all that didn't speak in favor of said unsaid point were anti black or something.

And then it all went sideways.

True.

Too bad you and I appear to be the only ones here to appreciate that.
Whatever gives you that idea?
Just going on the sentiments expressed so far. Do you agree with Neo?
Why would you ask that. You've already judged me. In spite of your having been exposed to (I won't assume you read any of my posts) hundreds of my posts over the past 4 or 5 years, you come up with this bullshit that because I don't respond to a post about something we all know that I must not appreciate black history.

I'm betting that I've lived a damn site closer to black history and reality than you have.

But then I don't know your mind, maybe you were just trying to piss me off by saying I didn't care.
Actually I haven't judged you, Billy. It does seem like you're rather defensive about the subject, though. I wonder why. I didn't mention you by name, after all. But you're correct in that I haven't gone through and read your "hundreds of posts". I have better things to do.
Read this crap again Ulysses,

first you say you haven't done what you clearly have
Then attack me for being defensive, as if that proves your point
Then you flat out come up with some bs about reading my posts and how you have better things to do than read my posts.

It's clear that you don't read before responding. I recommend that you continue this strange approach to communication. I assure you that I will do the same with yours.

And they want to take a wire brush to white history to make it as white as possible. I'm starting to think they're getting history and justice mixed up; one of them is supposed to be blind and it ain't history."

Ulysses responded:
"True.

Too bad you and I appear to be the only ones here to appreciate that."

As a direct response to neoplacebo's post, "you" would relate to neoplacebo. As the poster of that response, "I" would relate to Ulysses.

Therefore, Ulysses defines only and exclusively himself and neoplacebo as being those who appreciate the deprecation of black history and that justice is supposed to be blind, thus specifically excluding anyone else who might be a forum member or a follower of this thread. Ulysses inferred a non-response to a specific post constitutes a disagreement or lack of appreciate of the point originally made, which would clearly be a mistake for someone with any knowledge of the forum members.

You overlooked the qualifier, "appear". It is different from "are". No?

And then you equate the word "appreciate" with "disagreement". I know what I wrote, and while it could have been better (it always can be), it wasn't the blanket statement you portray it as.

As for knowledge of forum members, some of you appear to been here since at least 2012, maybe earlier. I cannot claim such a history.

Here's my impression, though: I dared to start one or two threads dealing with the issue of the history of the South and Slavery. One of those threads, as I recall, was titled "Slavery by another name". Some ignored it, another took it as an insult, and so on. I didn't intend it to upset anyone, but it was interesting to see the reactions. I don't recall having called anyone here racist, yet some of you seem to think I did. I wonder why?

The only person I really have any issue with here is VR. I believe he's quite off his rocker. Neo pretends to be but I think it's intended to be humorous. VR is just nasty. I'm not a psychologist but I think one would have a field day with VR.

The funny part is that I've been able to have civil, even friendly, discussions with African Americans on other web sites. But not here. I wonder why that is. And I honestly do not know the race of anyone here. It should not matter.
