More seriously, yes, it would be less fun if the details were nastier and team policy complacent. Now, I'm not worried about it.

Hat trick by Lloyd at 16 minutes, from midfield!!! 4-0, #3 on the volley by Lauren Holiday was maybe the prettiest. Wow.

MVP Carli Lloyd finishes with 6 goals and 3 assists in 7 games. Nice.

I heard advice on NPR yesterday that no one should take a smart phone or any other device to Russia because it will likely be hacked and passwords stolen.
I can't imagine anyone leaving their devices behind.

People would have a bunch of reasons not to, including keeping up with the games they're not attending.

Techies, is it that easy for someone to hack a phone that the owner still has possession of?

Dunno, but if you can afford to go to Russia for a soccer tournament, you can probably afford to pick up a cheap-but-still-smartish phone and pay as you go service. International use of US phones can get expensive sometimes anyway.
