Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

That should be an ad for something like "Look what being in the cult will do to you" sort of thing.

I'm not angry at all, either. In fact, I'm happier than a beagle with a belly rub when "great people like her" are kept out of Congress. And I'll happily help with enthusiasm to keep them as far from Congress as possible.

Nice whining. Is she trying to sabotage her chances of winning a full term in Nov?

Who know? She might think she's better off to stay on the yak circuit with a new whine than to win the job and risk actually having to look like she's working.
On a (slightly) more serious note, somebody should tell her that her election problem isn't so much her politics as her personality. It appears Alaskans are tired of her act. Tired of all mouth and no action. Haven't forgiven her for bailing on her phony-baloney governor job. This little tantrum isn't helping,
But she could still get elected, if only because of Demophobic
idiots Alaskans .

"positive" in another HUGE way:
For first time in 233 years, Native American, Native Alaskan, Native Hawaiian all in U.S. House
... "It has taken 233 years for the U.S. Congress to be fully represented by this country’s indigenous peoples," Kahele, the second Native Hawaiian to represent his home state, posted on Twitter alongside a photograph of him, Peltola, and Rep. Sharice Davids of Kansas, a member of the Ho-Chunk Nation. "Tonight, a Native American, a Native Alaskan & a Native Hawaiian are sitting members of the people’s House."
In August, Peltola, a member of the Yup'ik people, won Alaska's special congressional election and will finish the remaining term of the late Rep. Don Young, who died in March.
Peltola, former Gov. Sarah Palin and Nick Begich ran both in a special election to fill out the rest of Young's term and will run in the general election for a new term.
After her Sept. 13, swearing in, there are now six Indigenous Americans who are representatives in the House....
U.S. House candidate Democrat Mary Peltola answers questions from a reporter prior to a forum for U.S. House candidates at the Alaska Oil and Gas Association annual conference at the Dena'ina Convention Center in Anchorage, Alaska, on Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2022. Peltola won the special election for Alaska’s only U.S. House seat on Wednesday, besting a field that included Republican Sarah Palin, who was seeking a political comeback in the state where she was once governor.

Wouldn't that make the day she quit the governorship in 2009 the last gasp of her political life?

That's the beginning of the end, we just didn't know that at the time.

The end of the end?

House At Large: Alaska
Peltola (D) Incumbent 47.2%, 101,236, 44,231 ahead
Palin (R) 26.6%, 57,005
Begich (R) 24.2%, 51,896
Bye (L-I assume) 1.7%, 3,716
Est. vote in: 71%
Alaska does instant ranked choice voting, so it's almost certain that the D will continue to Rep a state that voted > 50% R.

They did that to rid themselves of Lisa Murkowski. Looks like that's gonna backfire too.
