Would you happen to have found a link to a published paper supporting the $6 million claim?
Asked and answered, fer pete's sake.
Nope, not answered.
Billy said he can't back it up.
Did you miss that admission?
That's the answer dumbass. If you don't want to believe me and if you don't want to stop and look at what I said, that's fine by me, but for christ's sake stop your fucking whining.
Here's the problem, Billy.
On the one hand, you say you stand by what you wrote back then.
Then in the same breath, you admit you cannot back it up.
In my world, not being able to back up a claim logically means one cannot stand by it.
So you were trying to eat your cookie and have it too.
That's not a problem. One can certainly "stand by" something s/he said years ago without having kept a reference to some obscure factoid picked up in an article or news story. Doesn't mean it's true now, or true then. It only means s/he said it and believed s/he repeated it accurately at the time. In any case, why on earth does it matter?

Homey don't play that.
You poor fucking idiot. So sad that you can't communicate. I stressed the lack of importance of my having an exact number would have on the overall inefficiency of an economic system transporting everything thousands of miles to a consumer rather than building local economies. One way destroys the middle class and creates billionaires, the other builds communities and strengthens the middle class.
Trump: “We had the safest border in the history of our country - or at least recorded history. I guess maybe a thousand years ago it was even better.”

He thinks that he wins something when he fails to understand.

Useless has completely ignored that central theme of your post 9 years ago, most likely because it's too deep for him to comprehend. Instead, he chooses to nitpick over an irrelevant factoid because it makes his dick feel not quite so small.
Of course you're correct. We have the economy we do because govt and industry pick winners and losers, not because the solutions are ecologically or socially most beneficial.

I (sort of) answered this, too. Yesterday I posted "there is none" when you asked the same fucking thing for the third or fourth time.
He's an idiot.
My claim was clear and absolutely true that large trucks don't pay their way, instead those whose jobs were sent to places like china pay to subsidize millionaires and billionaires as they ship cheaply made foreign products to big box stores owned by millionaires and billionaires.
Trump: “We had the safest border in the history of our country - or at least recorded history. I guess maybe a thousand years ago it was even better.”
So there is no factual basis for the $6 million tractor trailer claim.
Looks like you're off Ignore until banni fixes by profile thing. Oh well.
I'm pretty sure that wasn't my claim, but then considering your refusal to understand things being based solely on the messenger explains your constant inability to communicate.

Uh huh...
"That walmart tractor trailer truck requires about $6,000,000.00/year in road construction and maintenance but pays about $15,000.00 in taxes."

Spot on based on 60 Minutes numbers.
Pretty damn close based on common sense when considering the cost to build and maintain highways.
Probably low when considering how many closed businesses, lost jobs and different generations of families scattered around the country.
But of course you won't stop to think before objecting.

So... is it $6 million per tractor trailer, or $6 million for all tractor trailers?

The German Autobahn routes' pavement is generally 27 to 30 inches thick. American interstates might be six inches. Measured from the roadbed.
