Everything Trump Touches Dies

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

:violin: Show up for your court dates, MAGAt, and hostile whining never gets the cuffs removed, duh.

EDIT: Whack9 beat me to it by 8 minutes. :-||
Pirro’s future in question amid break with Trump on Reflecting Pool

... Pirro visited the White House Monday evening after Trump lashed out at her on camera hours earlier in the Oval Office, telling reporters she "folded like an umbrella" in her move to drop charges.

"The judge was extremely unfriendly to Jeanine, and frankly, I think she choked because the judge was really vicious," Trump said.

"Instead of going after the people that did it, the judge went after her and went after her department," he continued. "And I guess she choked. I don't know what the hell happened." ...
What IDIOT hired her and the incompetent contractor? Oh wait ...

Yet another woman going down?
Former Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem became the first major dismissal of Trump's second term after she claimed the president signed off on a $220 million ad campaign for the department. Noem and the administration had also faced intense backlash over the shooting deaths of two protesters at the hands of Immigration and Customs Enforcement earlier this year.

Trump fired former Attorney General Pam Bondi in April following increased scrutiny over her handling of the Jeffrey Epstein files and a string of losses in trying to prosecute a number of the president's political enemies.

... In a separate case last year, federal prosecutors in Pirro's office initially sought a felony indictment against a former Justice Department employee who hurled a sandwich at a federal agent during Trump's law enforcement surge in D.C., but a grand jury refused to indict. Then her office pursued a misdemeanor assault charge against him instead, but he was ultimately found not guilty at trial.
:---P
... Prosecutors pinned the blame in Hearn's case squarely on Interior for providing "less than fulsome information" at the outset of the case, writing that the agency "slowly started trickling" new details to the U.S. attorney's office only after dozens of requests....
Sec Doug Burgum thrown under the bus.

Another absolutely clear case of Donald Trump giving zero fucks about the rule of law. How is it not incredibly clear to everyone when one of his loyal sycophants can't even find enough evidence to proceed, that rather than accepting that fact, Donald Trump digs deeper into his fantasy and continues to refute reality.

It's incredibly clear in this article. How is this not cause for concern for those still support him? Rule of law is one of the fundamental underpinnings of any functional government.

:headscratch:

‘Is she even allowed to be doing this?’: Inside a federal judge’s side gig running

A Trump-appointed federal appeals judge spent months running a Washington public affairs firm after being appointed to the bench last year, an arrangement that contributed to an exodus among the firm's staff and clients and only ended when the firm went out of business at the end of June.

Jennifer Mascott, a former conservative law professor who sits on the 3rd Circuit Court of Appeals, was deeply involved in daily operations at the firm, Adfero, for at least six months after she was confirmed as a judge in October 2025, according to 14 former employees and clients granted anonymity to discuss internal details of the firm's final months.

Nine of the former employees said Mascott, who inherited her ownership stake in the firm from her late husband in 2023, worked at least once a week out of Adfero's office in Washington and oversaw the firm's staffing, business development efforts and client relations in between her full-time judicial duties in Wilmington and Philadelphia....

It's a term meaning fired. Comes from the practice in some offices of having the personal effects of a person collected and put into a box on his/her desk to find when they return from lunch. Solicits the reaction like "oh shit - I've been boxed!"

Similar, but more cruel than the practice in one law firm of piling a bunch of dirty socks on somebody's desk after they've lost a case. So they could experience the "the smell of de-feet"
