Re: The Religion Thread
As long as red states lean precariously to the right, stupidity will be the order of the day. Hell, it's getting time for Virginia and Arkansas to do something tea-stupid. Oh, and Kansas; let's not forget them, even if they are a border state.
People are crazy and times are strange. I'm locked in tight, I'm out of range.
I used to care, but, things have changed.

It must make Boatrocker feel good to be so much smarter and better than anybody who lives in a red state. What an arrogant asshole!Boatrocker wrote:As long as red states lean precariously to the right, stupidity will be the order of the day. I was wrong. Nobody ordered a name change. But the family lost custody of their three kids (including little Adolph along with Joycelynn Aryan Nation and Honszlynn Hinler) over child abuse charges. However, there was no substantiation of abuse, nor any reports to police or complaints - other than the names. There may be jackboots after all.Vrede wrote:I think "Hitler" was deemed child abuse, it would be harder to make that case for "Messiah" and this judge did not seem to cite abuse as a reason. Although, the inevitable nickname - "Messy" - ain't great.

I once had a cat named "VC" because he would hide around door frames and attack you as you walked by. I don't think it was religious, though. Just weird.

NC, we will never be out-wingnutted again. Respect this, or we will be
forced to go all Mississippi on you.

I always wondered about that one really. It was sooooo important that the "messiah" be linked to King David genetically..... in fact needed to be in order to fulfill the "prophecy", however, not one bit of Jesus was related to David.

Reminds me of an outrageous Sam Kinison routine. "That better be the ****ing Son of God, I'll tell you that shit right now!" Wonder if it's on Youtube . . . .bannination wrote:rstrong wrote:

I can certainly see why the Jews didn't accept that shenanigans anyway.

There's a Measles Outbreak at Vaccine-Denying Pastor Kenneth Copeland's Fort Worth Church
Funny how the end of the world just might be brought on by these religious nuts, it's just not the end of the world *they* were hoping for.
If you really want a WTF, just watch the videos on page 2.

Oh. Lord, give us chicken pox, mumps, the shakes, open chancre sores, glorious insect bites, and all afflictions. We are all waterheads and are unworthy of your glory and blessings. Thanks.

Lightning Strikes Creation Museum Staff Member
Does this mean anything? Well, in Job 37:3, the Bible states that it is God who "directeth ... his lightning unto the ends of the earth," not electrically charged weather systems. And as Creation Museum founder Ken Ham declares in his magnum opus The Lie: Evolution, "the word of God is ... the absolute authority."

So....what's your point? Lightning strikes anywhere, anytime...even on clear days. No surprises here.
