Trump

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

I don't look enough to know them apart but they do argue that each is better than the other, but both are better than the communist or the treasonous hillary

Interesting analysis.
Trump Will Win GOP Nomination, But Ted Cruz Plans to Be the Next Republican President

... Meanwhile, as Marco Rubio quietly slinks back to his home in West Miami, Ted Cruz will gear up for the next phase. He knows that Hillary will crush The Donald in the fall, leaving him as the ultimate winner of the 2016 GOP campaign, the unchallenged leader of the conservative movement, prepared for his next run--the one that he always thought was the one that would put him in the White House--against President Hillary Clinton in 2020.
Makes some sense. I'm sure the CPF Trumpettes will rapidly join the Cruzers in declaring that the 11/2016 loss was because the nominee wasn't con enough.

Not that I'll bother searching but it would be hilarious to see how many CPF Cruzers were staunch Obama birfers.

Crybaby in Chief Trump blames MoveOn.org.

MoveOn.org says its "members supported student leaders".

Wow, I hadn't been over there in a while, they're really going nuts over this Trump thing they helped create.

We all know that.

Neither I nor rstrong needs to design anything. We've got the examples of every other industrialized democracy having single payer and getting comparable outcomes to the US for 1/2 to 2/3 the per capita cost. Plus, neither I nor I'm pretty sure rstrong would have designed the GOP-model, Big Insurance shilling ACA. I wanted single payer or at the very least the public option.
When I posted this: "I'm just happy that our local, favorite health-care provider or his Canadian dance partner didn't design it." , did you not see this:  ? Oh shoot! My bad! I forgot! I'm not allowed to insinuate that something I post was intended as a joke.

In his pitiful desperation to whine about us, Seth Milner completely screws up all logic, again.

They love to blame the left for everything, regardless of facts, or lack of facts.

Interesting that trumpet lied about the police calling off the event.
Interesting that he even had the event in Chicago
Interesting that he got so much press out of the protest
Interesting that he got so much new speech material out of it
Interesting that the protest deflected attention away from his hate speech

Almost seems like one of those follow the money/motive things

Thank you! Now, as our resident Canadian Obamacare Expert, explain it to the rest of the nation. You'll probably do better than the authors of the ACA. I bet you're beaming with pride right now! I know Vrede is!

Me? I favor single-payer like what Canada has. *1 I can explain it for you if you want, including debunking all the election 2008 myths and lies the Republicans were spreading when Obama was campaigning for single payer.

As for the ACA/ObamaCare, you'll have to ask the Heritage Foundation, Mitt Romney, Bob Dole, Jim DeMint, Olympia Snowe, Chuck Grassley, Newt Gingrich and all the other Republican leaders who came up with it and supported it for 15 years.

*1) As expected, it did indeed go over your head.

Interesting (and scary) that Trump has gotten as far as he has in this campaign. What's scary is that he just might get elected!
This is what I foresee: Trump, being a fast-paced, short-tempered, hurry-up-and-get-it-done-yesterday" businessman who's favorite line is "you're fired", will bore of his job, or get himself or our country in hot water with our allies. He, and the other candidates, are making so many claims what they will do and won't do; they're forgetting something crucial: This country has a senate, congress, SCOTUS, and other representatives who's job is to ensure that our appointed leader does not become a dictator.

True. Which is why I can see him choosing Sarah Palin as his VP. Insurance against Congress impeaching him.

And as Bush I, Clinton and Obama have demonstrated, the President can take the country to war without clearance from Congress. They only have to ask some time after the fact.

I chose to let this go over my head long before any Canadian became an Obamacare Expert. As I stated some time ago, I don't eat, drink, and sleep political issues. (or squabbling) Seriously, you did well on your explanation, but honestly, it fell on deaf uncaring ears.

Now come on seth. The left doesn't come close to the misinformation machine of the right. Jones, Savage, Limbo, Fox not News, Beck - lies and b.s. is the backbone of the modern right

lil bush and Cheney lied us into their war and there was a lot of bs speculation, but the basics were true

Compare that to obama had a prostitute murder fat Tony

Now where in the hell did that come from

It's all over talk radio that Obama hired a prostitute to murder him

Not the real news, but Alex Jones and Michael savage swear that is what happened

Along with the other explanations for the same event that they also swear happened
