Weird, the video was embedded in the tweet, now gone.
NFL/NBC property. It'll be on their websites, social media accounts and YT channels.
Ah.
They'll allow (or sell) some video posts like by Barstool Sports or Culture War, but they're not going to let NFLonFOX do it?

No. Josh Allen is credited with a touchdown pass and a touchdown reception, but not with a reception  . Amari Cooper got the reception, which was a little spectacular in its own right.

The NFL has weighed in.

Dirty hit.

Suspended 3 games "without pay", as I wondered.
"repeated" violations - "Menace", as I said.

Sufficient? I'm inclined to think so. Karma if it contributes to the hated Texans losing the AFC South or at least hosting the strongest Wildcard.

... They may sit Lawrence for the rest of the season. The Jags are 2-10.

Why the Jaguars placed QB Trevor Lawrence on injured reserve

... Lawrence sustained a concussion Sunday on a tackle by Houston Texans linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair -- which the quarterback's teammates described as a "dirty hit." He was less than halfway into his return to action after missing two games with a left sprained AC joint.

With the IR designation, it's likely the franchise quarterback's season is over early after signing a five-year, $275 million contract in the offseason.

The Jaguars are 2-10 and with the Broncos win on "Monday Night Football," Jacksonville is eliminated from playoff contention....

The team has been riddled with injuries, the offense has regressed, and the Jaguars entered Sunday with the worst defense in the league. Coach Doug Pederson and general manager Trent Baalke also face uncertain futures....

In a similar situation, Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa suffered a concussion earlier this season in which he displayed the fencing posture. He was also placed on IR and was out for five weeks. Tagovailoa had a history of three previous concussions.

Does this end Lawrence's season?

Anyone placed on IR has to miss at least four games. The Jaguars have five remaining -- two against Tennessee, the New York Jets, Las Vegas and Indianapolis -- so Lawrence technically could return for the final game of the season, but that's unlikely. Especially if he does opt for surgery on his left shoulder, which is something he said last week that he wouldn't rule out.

Is this Lawrence's first concussion?

It's his second diagnosed concussion with the Jaguars and third known diagnosed concussion dating back to his three-year career at Clemson.

Lawrence suffered a concussion in the Jaguars' Week 15 loss to Baltimore last December but started the Jaguars' next game against Tampa Bay. Lawrence also suffered a concussion against Syracuse during his freshman season at Clemson (2018) but started the following week against Wake Forest....
Too soon, too soon.

I hope TL enjoys his early vacation.

Huge game:
8:15 PM Prime Video :x
GO @Lions 11-1 (-3) > Packers 9-3
NFC North: Will Lions, Vikings or Packers win the division?

... The Detroit Lions (11-1), Minnesota Vikings (10-2) and Green Bay Packers (9-3) hold three of the top four records in the NFC and three of the top seven in the entire NFL.

It's the first time since the 1970 merger that three teams in the same division have entered Week 14 with a win percentage of at least .750, according to ESPN Research.

The 4-8 Chicago Bears fired coach Matt Eberflus after a loss on Thanksgiving, but they nearly beat each of their division rivals the previous three weeks -- losing by a combined seven points.
 :angry-banghead:
Beginning Thursday night when the Lions host the Packers (8:15 p.m. ET, Prime Video), every NFC North team plays each other over the final five weeks. Will the Lions hold on to win the division for the second straight season? Will the Vikings or Packers knock them off the top? Will the Bears play the spoiler roll under interim head coach Thomas Brown?

ESPN NFL Nation reporters Eric Woodyard (Lions), Kevin Seifert (Vikings), Rob Demovsky (Packers) and Courtney Cronin (Bears) set the table as we head into the stretch run:

(opinions/predictions)

Chicago Bears (4-8)

Remaining games:
at 49ers, at Vikings, vs. Lions, vs. Seahawks, at Packers

Why Bears can shake up the division ...

What impact has Brown had on Williams?

A pretty darn big one. In three games since Shane Waldron was fired and Brown was promoted to offensive coordinator, Williams' Total QBR has gone from 39 to 77, his completion percentage has increased by 3% and his yards per dropback have jumped from 4.9 to 6.2. Williams has thrown five touchdown passes and hasn't turned the ball over since Brown's first game calling plays in Week 11. The rookie threw three touchdown passes against Detroit while orchestrating a furious second-half comeback, becoming the only quarterback to achieve that feat against the Lions' defense this season.
How far are the Bears from challenging for the division title?

... The NFC North is going to be a tough division for a while. The Bears have a quarterback to contend with everyone else, but investing in one of the league's worst offensive lines this offseason and nailing their head-coaching search will determine just how far away they are from being the best team in the division in 2025....

Strides for sanity:

NFL, players association agree to changes to drug policies

Non-PEDS: Relaxation of many standards, including for weed.

PEDs:
...For the performance-enhancing drug policy, there have been several changes involving testing procedures and reinstatement. Under the previous policy, a player suspended for a performance-enhancing drug violation could not be reinstated until he tested negative for the substance in question. Now, the player could be reinstated if it's determined the presence of the substance provides no performance-enhancing effect.
Sounds reasonable. I'm all for a strong PED ban, but not for some of the excesses we've seen.

I've occasionally wondered if there are scientific findings that "PED's" actually do enhance performance, and if so in what way and how much. Maybe there are, and they'll use that info in their decisions.

Look at Barry Bonds, Roger Clemens, Sammy Sosa not to mention previously underpowered players hitting 50 homers like Brady Anderson.

Anabolic steroids increase muscle mass and aggressiveness. To a point that enhances performance without a doubt.
Stimulants increase stamina . . . until you crash.
Performance-enhancing use

Because they promote lower heart rates and reduce tremors, beta blockers have been used in professional sports where high accuracy is required, including archery, shooting, golf and snooker. Beta blockers are banned in some sports by the International Olympic Committee....
And so on.

Ftr, 'shrooms do not improve soccer goalie skills. Just thought you'd like to know.

... With the victory, the Lions also clinched a playoff spot for the second consecutive season, which hasn't happened in Detroit since 1994-95.

... The Lions had four fourth-down conversions against Green Bay, their most in a game this season and tied for their most in a contest in the past 40 seasons, according to ESPN Research.

They became the second team over the past 45 seasons to go for it on fourth down inside the opposing team's 25-yard line with the score tied in the final minute, according to Elias Sports Bureau. The Cincinnati Bengals also did it in Week 17 of the 2021 season against the Kansas City Chiefs, picking up the first down on a defensive penalty and ultimately kicked a game-winning field goal.

Vikings-Falcons is the better game, but I guess watching the Panthers lose is a mandate here.

I would wish for Seahawks-Cardinals in place of Rams-Bills, but they didn't ask me to help with scheduling.
Of those we get, I'll take Stillers, Vikes, Rams, and Swifties. Of those, Rams will likely go down, and the Browns have been known to beat the Stillers just out of spite even in a bad year. The Iggles hopefully wont' have any trouble, and unfortunately Da Bears will probably be Da Bears.

The Browns haven't swept the Steelers since 1988 when Bernie and Bubby were helming the teams.

The Stillers do have Jameis Winston working in their favor.
