No, what's sad is that many "Christians" have lost sight of and lost faith in the most basic and fundamental tenets of the Christian religion. It only took Jesus 33 years to begin cultivating a following and manage to antagonize the established authority enough to realize what a threat he was to them and thus kill him. That's some true revolutionary zeal. As for hate, I don't hate just for the hell of it; you have to earn my hate, and religious hypocrites and bigots succeed in that.

Thanks; happy holidays to you, hominy. The other day I read about a church in Los Angeles that paid off millions in medical bills for folks who don't even belong to their church. That, to me, is the true spirit of Christianity. Nothing to hate about it. There's just too many "Christians" who profess their faith and devotion to Jesus but demonstrate just the opposite in their actual lives. And in many cases, these are the ones who profess and squawk and quack their faith most vehemently. They fail to see that their "faith" is only in themselves and their self bestowed righteousness. I say fuck them and send them my sincere and well earned hate.

That, to me, is the true spirit of Christianity. Nothing to hate about it.
