I think it's better to teach kids good manners, including when it is (in)appropriate to swear than to pretend you or other adults don't. Off topic - but I once read a study where cussing (no matter the words) fudge, fuck, whatever, actually reduced the subjective pain that a person feels.

Just wondering, what is an appropriate age to teach a child to swear properly? Should they be taught at home, or should they learn from their friends on the playground? Are there beginner swear words that they start with and work up to serious stuff? Should there be a segment during English class to build knowledge and skill with swear words? Should there be bi-lingual instruction?
