Doesn't take much to deflect a ball sideways, but in this guy's case, he'd hit the uprights I think 4 times this season, so his kick probably wasn't headed for dead middle anyway. All in all, I'll give credit to the Iggle team for scoring the most points over 60 minutes.

NFC > AFC unless it's Dallas
Ugh, forgot that they do that chant in KC, too. Go Colts.

Eagles WR Alshon Jeffery: ‘I think I have the best hands in the league’
https://theeagleswire.usatoday.com/2018 ... he-league/

Yeah, no love lost here after he dissed the City of Chicago last week.

Nothing to love about the Iggles cept for Silver Linings Playbook......and they beat the Pats last year, but that's it.

0-for-100: No one makes a 43-yard field goal in snowy, sloppy Goose Island contest

... Goose Island had offered anyone who made the 43-yard attempt a prize of airfare, hotel and tickets to any regular-season NFL game next season. If any contestant had made the attempt, he or she would have had a chance to break the NFL record with a 65-yard try, but it never got to that point....
I might have tried when I was younger, I could goal kick a soccer ball more than 43 yards pretty accurately, but I would NOT have waited in line for hours just to get a chance.

Good game, heckuva finish. Eagles had a shot until "best hands" Jeffery blew it.

Go Saints > Rams

Can't decide with New England vs Kansas City. I'm so tired of the Pats, but KS is so con and there's that chant. Maybe I'll pick a favorite by game time. Not sure who I would bet on, either. KC is favored by 3 early. That's the standard home field advantage.

I would have tried it when I was young, no way I would've been close.

Nobody left that I really care whether they win or lose.
Well, that's not quite true. I'd like the Pats to lose.
Guess I'll go with WhoDat for next week.

Chiefs chant aside, you gotta love the Mahomes kid. Like to see Andy Reid get a ring also. Go Chiefs, go Aints.

OT. The Saints were robbed by a pass interference non-call in the red zone in the last 2 minutes that would have won the game for them, but I can't say whether there was otherwise ref bias in the game.

Trivia: The #1 & #2 conference seeds are playing both games today.

Jared Goff is the youngest QB ever to go to the SB. That will last all of 3 hours if KC and Patrick Mahomes win. :D

I'm not sure if Sean McVay is the youngest head coach ever to go to the SB, but he's got to be close.

MIght as well root for the Rams. Back when I was a kid and possibly couldn't have found California on a map of the west coast, I got a Crazy-Legs Hirsch bubblegum card and for some reason I thought he was totally cool. I even wore 40 in what was politically incorrectly called "Midget" league.

When I was a kid, long before ever visiting LA, the Rams were my other team besides DC, and Deacon Jones of the "Fearsome Foursome" was my favorite player.

That was exciting, 38 points scored in the 4th quarter. Never bet against the GOAT.

Trivia:
1st time ever that 2 postseason games went to OT on the same day.
Visitors won both games. I think I heard that the home team won the championship games the last 6 years.
Only the 2nd OT AFC championship game in the SB era. How long ago was the first one? Cleveland was in it :D , vs. Denver in 1986.

NFL will publicly admit error on key non-call in Rams-Saints
