Wingnutties out of control!

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

Dang if you ain't one irritating moron.....

"the failed prohibition you endorse.....your strategy.....your prohibition.....time for you to stop trying to legislate morality....."

I've not endorsed any strategies or prohibitions, nor attempted to introduce any type of legislation. You have a way of twisting one's thought or words that are nothing more than words of an annoying troll; not unlike a couple of other posters.

I merely posted the links to a couple of news pieces that caught my attention, because the ever increasing use and abuse of hard drugs have grown to epidemic proportions. Yes, the drug war is a losing battle overall, but that doesn't mean the answer is to legalize drugs and everything will be all hunky-dory.

Let's look...

You said "drugs are a public health problem and should be dealt with that way"....so you're saying we who do not use drugs should pay to rehabilitate addicts at the "enormous costs" to taxpayers?

You said "destabilization of our hemispheric neighbors".....so you're saying that our attempts to wipe out drugs would destabilize the economy of the countries that turn a blind eye to it's manufacture?

You said "the horrible violence of the marketplace".....what about the horrible violence caused by those "poor" drug induced addicts that you so vehemently defend; whether their drugs are legal or illegal? You know, the Moms killing their kids, Dads abandoning their families, petty and felony thefts to support habits, disrespect for LEO's, etc.?

You said "stop trying to legislate morality".... so you're fine living in a society that has no morality? responsibility? respect for human life or property?

You said "No one here defends drug abuse".......your defense only involves drug use?

Think about what I said about that "hand-basket" thingy....yup, it's coming.

Thanks for the reminder; I forgot.....Dems have no family values. They don't have to hide their "dupes"; they're expected.
Congressman apologizes after compromising video posted

A married Republican U.S. representative apologized on Monday after a Louisiana newspaper posted a surveillance video showing a man it identified as the congressman kissing a woman from his office staff...

Vance, who took office last November in a special election that he won partly by touting his Christian values...
Nietzsche, in reference to "values", said something along the lines that when a society's values are no longer second nature (instinct) and become something instead you have to put thought into and develop a system to support and show-case, those values are no longer true values.

Guess what I'm saying is all this BS you hear about so-and-so touting their "values" is a load of crap. If they were truly about their values they'd live it and shut up about it. To me that's more respectful. I think Jesus had something to say about this as well?

Here it is:
"When you pray, don't be like the hypocrites who love to pray publicly on street corners and in the synagogues where everyone can see them. I tell you the truth, that is all the reward they will ever get."
I'm telling you...this Jesus guy is a treasure trove of good advice. I wish I could've hung out with him.

This is the perfect occasion for the soul kissing representative from Louisiana
to put his Christianity to work. He hangs his head, apologizes to his family,
friends, and God and then goes about his business as if nothing had happened.
Praise the Lord. It worked for john David Vitter over there, and his transgression
was a lot more serious than this fellow's.

God is dead. And Satan is looking a little peaked himself.

You know what, when I wrote that I totally had no intention of making a pun. I re-read it and then realized what I had done. I wasn't sure if I should've deleted it or not, but thought man that's a really good pun, but I also have lots of respect for my man Jesus. I figured I'd leave it be and let you guys figure it out.

Yeah, Jesus seemed pretty cool on the surface, or at least the writing about him. Who knows. If he lived today he'd be labeled a socialist communist liberal traitor and hung again by conservatives though. IMHO

And it will spill over into your neighborhoods. Just as it will spill over into mine.
I saw a Muslim woman all wrapped up in her shroud shopping in Kroger's. I picked up a package of pork chops to put in her cart, but she had a little boy with her (Not wrapped in a shroud, of course) and he was watching me. Too bad. I saw another one with her head all wrapped up but she had on a kaftan with gold sequins all over the sleeves.

I'll keep watching until that other one gets to check out and finds the pork chops.

Solar's a pathological liar. He hasn't the balls to do something like that. And he probably flashed her kid.

Oh, I'm sure he flashed from a distance. Doubt the kid saw anything.

I don't think he's afraid of little boys; I think he . . . likes . . . them.
The mother, however, probably scared him.

I must have hit your last raw nerve about drugs! Poor baby! (whine, whine)

"Yes, drugs cost society, duh, but the prohibition you do endorse......."
"the prohibition you do endorse".......obssessed.

All I know is that despite the historical importance and the need to remember my country's fallen heroes, the authorities still refuse to grant the permits required by our avid group of drug-war re-enactors.

Well yes, but with proper permits the drugs and paraphernalia become a tax-deductible expense.

I was trying to get a good unbiased (is that the right word?) sample size for the poll I posted here. Needless to say getting conservatives to answer simple questions is like pulling teeth.... everything is some kind of liberal plot..... Here's a reply from the forum admin at one of the other forums I tried getting some information from:
Hello, bannination!

We regret to inform you that your membership application has been reviewed and rejected by CFadm from the Conservative's Forum administration.
The following reason was given by CFadm:

Sorry but CF is strictly for Conservative membership/posting only. Too many liberal posters have used survey ploys in the past to gain access.

If you feel this is all a big mistake, you are of course free to apply for membership again using different credentials for review.

Regards,
The Conservative's Forum team

Oh noes.... someone might post something against our world view!! horror!
