The idea of one pol calling another pol a bullshitter is kind of funny in itself. All pols are
flip-floppers, but Romney is pretty much in a class by himself. If he holds one position for
a month, that's a record.

thread titleVrede wrote:Is that how someone interpreted it here? If so, you're right, that's not what Obama said.billy.pilgrim wrote:I know who he is referring to and I believe I know what he thinks about rmoney, but the truth is that he said that kids see rmony as a bullshitterVrede wrote:Since Obama jokes about how he is doing in the "six to 12" "demographic" then immediately says "the other guy" - not 'some guy' - is "a bullshitter", that he means Mitten seems clear to me. Anyone else want to weigh in? I could be wrong.
Besides, what's got the cons so worked up is the use of the word (despite the fact that a con put it in the thread title and they're all repeating it). They're doing the best they can to divert from the fact that Mitten really is a bullshitter.
Agreed.
They look at the other guy and say, 'Well, that's a bullshitter,"
Kids are good at that. Then they get their mouths washed out with soap.I read somewhere that the autistic are really good at that, too.
he doesn't say they look at the other guy and agree with me that he is a bullshitter
also Huff Post title
also I believe that is what obama wanted to express - just making the point that had it been the other way all the righties and fox would be claiming that rmoney never said any such thing, he was only pointing out what others might say

Show us where Obama flipped from pro-abortion to anti-abortion, pro-birth control to anti-birth control, pro-gun control to anti-gun control, pro-individual mandate to anti-individual mandate, anti-Reagan to pro-Reagan, pro-stem-cell research to anti-stem-cell research, pro-minimum wage to anti-minimum wage, pro-carbon-emission restriction to anti-carbon-emission restriction.Colonel Taylor wrote:Only to those who think Obama just stretches the truth.Bungalow Bill wrote:The idea of one pol calling another pol a bullshitter is kind of funny in itself. You mean the way he was against gay marriage before he was for it? Or how he was for closing Guantanamo before he was for keeping it open? Or how he voted against increasing the debt limit; then supported raising it. Or how he promised to have health care negotiations on live TV, but then locked everyone out. Or how he voted against the Patriot Act, but then supported its extension.Stinger wrote:Show us where Obama flipped from pro-abortion to anti-abortion, pro-birth control to anti-birth control, pro-gun control to anti-gun control, pro-individual mandate to anti-individual mandate, anti-Reagan to pro-Reagan, pro-stem-cell research to anti-stem-cell research, pro-minimum wage to anti-minimum wage, pro-carbon-emission restriction to anti-carbon-emission restriction.Colonel Taylor wrote:Only to those who think Obama just stretches the truth.Bungalow Bill wrote:The idea of one pol calling another pol a bullshitter is kind of funny in itself. Looks like Mitt's still way ahead, flip-flop wise. No surprise. A long term policy commitment
for him is one news cycle.
Congress would never approve the money for closing Gitmo. I suppose this has been
explained to the nutters about half a dozen times, but they still can't figure it out. Big
surprise.
