The homophobic thread :>

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

He says he has the credit card bill. Compare it to the merchant's receipt, then. Should be easy enough.

Like I said, compare it to the merchant's records. If paid with a credit card, he'll have a record, and probably a copy of the original receipt signed by the customer. This online image shit could mean anything.

I suppose the receipt could have been doctored, even though the time stamp is the same as the original. All the waitress had to offer was "I don't know", as opposed to the in-depth explanation of the customer.

At any rate, I'll bet that somebody is lying.......

O Really wrote:Agreed. But there's still more to the story somewhere. Certainly people lie - could be the server; could be the guest, but one would want to ask why. The server didn't identify the guests, and so theoretically no one would have known who they were. Did the guests just recognize their check online and jump into a fray they would have otherwise been anonymous in? Was there other foulness between server and guest? I'm pretty sure there's more.
I can't say what else might have gone on here, between the waitress and guests. But all three of my children, both sons-in-law and my daughter-in-law have all worked as wait staff in the restaurant business and they all agree (even the one who teaches Sunday School) that the after church crowd on Sunday, and the other assorted uber-religious patrons who wear their religiosity on their sleeves every day of the week, are too often the worst customers, for all the same reasons. Not the least of which is their stinginess at tip time. Citing that 10% bullshit is very, very common, and more often done face to face and not just on the receipt. My youngest daughter was sent home from a slightly upscale, non-chain Italian joint in Greenville one shift for not kowtowing to some preacher's wife who was showing her sanctimonious ass about the tip, which had NOT been remarked on by my daughter. This old bag felt the need to point out that she NEVER tipped more than 10% (you know the sillyass reason why) and would be reducing the tip to 7% because one of the other old bags "had" to request a refill on a glass that was 3/4 full.
Talk to folks with experience in food service; they'll all have some horror stories about the church crowd. Baptists seem to be the worst.

Whoda thunk a Marine would lie? Yep, I eat my words Verde. She wasn't really a Marine after all according to the higher ups, so maybe her lies are caused by her neckties being to tight.

Oh she's a lez alright. One of them that thinks she's a guy, only she's a dick short of being the real thing.

Correct. A real woman doesn't dress like a man in order to get in the pants of another woman.
All said, it appears she's about 3 French fries short of being a happy meal. (no pun intended)

Seems they would be like identical twins, except you could supposedly redeem yourself in the Christian end of the business. According to reports, our pet lez was dishonorably discharged from the USMC for continuously being AWOL, therefore she was a Marine in her own warped mind. This leads me to believe that she used this story to garner sympathy for queer causes. One problem though, it jumped back and bit her in the ass. Stupid clown should have known
she'd be discovered and disgraced again.

Morales was formally discharged, or released from the Marines, under conditions that were other than honorable, according to the source.
She was stationed in Newburgh, N.Y., and began serving in July 2009, military sources said.
A woman who served with Morales told NBC 4 New York that the commitment is a serious one.
"I wouldn't want anyone to think she was a part of my Marine Corps family, because she's not," said the woman, who asked to remain anonymous
because she is still on active duty.

What happened to "there are no ex Marines, just former Marines" or "once a Marine always a Marine"? Apparently she was a bad Marine, but a Marine none the less.

That applies if you toughed it out and served your commitment. She wasn't a bad Marine; she wasn't any kind of Marine.
Just a screwed up body in a Marine uniform that got her picture taken in the uniform.

OK, I got it. Pick one: Being a Marine is (a) defined by an enlistment contract and law; or (b) a state of mind. If the answer is (b), then I think I'll be a former Marine, too. Semper Fi.

It's hard to discern if the receipt has been altered due to the convenient blurring of the receipt's identifying numbers.

Given the young woman's background issues, it would appear that she is guilty before being proven innocent; and I will agree that it's
odd that her "friends" have suddenly appeared to condemn her character.

It'll all come out in the wash.

I still say there's something between the server and those guests. Even if the server wrote the note, why those people? As far as I've read, she never mentioned them by name. So they see the article, look at the image and say "we were there that night - yo, that's our check." Okfine, but who would even know it was them unless they jumped into the fray? Isn't that something a person would look at and say, ummm, bitch be lying, but nothing good will come out of this for me getting my name in it.
