First I've heard of it.He was celebrating his team's best season ever. That's when he ran into the NYPD and broke his leg.
... Meanwhile, video and eyewitness reports didn't match what police said ...
While this particular story is about a player missing some games, not about a person being murdered by police, it's still worth asking why we haven't heard more about it.
Because if a story involving a professional athlete can fly under the radar like this, just imagine how many other, lower-profile cases we haven't heard about.

Pro Tip: When flying a police helicopter, try not to leave the mike open on your external public address system so that everyone on the ground can hear your conversation about oral sex as you fly over the city.

People are crazy and times are strange. I'm locked in tight, I'm out of range.

neoplacebo has escalated:neoplacebo wrote:When I see a deputy sheriff, city police officer, or state police officer speeding without lights or siren, I always try to fall in behind him and just keep pace; this is generally easy to do, as most drivers automatically slow down or even put on some brakes anytime they see a cop car. I have done this at least a dozen times over the past years and only one time did one of them (a city cop from Hendersonville) take any notice of me. He pulled into the shoulder of I-26E to let me go by and then proceeded to follow ME. Needless to say, subsequent to this, neither of us were speeding. Nothing happened in this situation other than him probably running my tag number to see if he could get me on anything. However, I was quite prepared to confront him, as I believe he must have figured out. The whole experience is like being able to siphon off a little power or something.....it's hard to explain, but I recommend it.

Seth says... "We arm-chair quarterbacks can sit at home in our easy chairs and call all the shots, saying it should have been handled this way or that way, and then criticize the officer when deadly force is used. I think if it were our life that was on the line, attitudes toward LEO's would be much different."
Sure, everything is easier if you're not the one having to do it. But you don't have to actually be an NFL quarterback to recognize a fumble when you see one on the telly. And if you think O Really is anti-cop, you're sadly mistaken. I've negotiated a bunch of contracts with police organizations, representing municipalities, but working closely with the police reps. I've worked with police organizations in other matters, investigating labor violations and discrimination issues, improper pay issues, and wrongful termination issues. I've taken the "citizens training" and done the ride alongs. I've got a lot of respect for the people who do that job. At least the ones who do the job well. The ones who do the job poorly - not so much. There are "rotten apples" but there are also some who just don't belong in the job. They have, or develop, anger issues, prejudices, bully tendencies, or just cover their insecurity with bravado. Police "brothers" have always protected their own - even if their own was wrong. And in principle, that's not necessarily a bad thing. Police shouldn't be fired over political issues, or over false or exaggerated accusations. They should always get due process in any transaction, and evidence of wrong-doing should be solid. But too many times, police create their own problems. They scare drunk guys and then go amock when the drunk guy resists. They serve warrants in the middle of the night, not in uniform, and are shocked - shocked I say - when the terrified resident shoots at them. And they shoot kids with legal airguns in a park. These people don't belong on a police force, and their actions are not just a 'part of their job."

Sure, there appear to be good cops when we deal with them in other situations, but as cops - when do we ever hear about them turning each other in for breaking the law and unless trying to screw with traffic - when have you ever seen one drive the speed limit or obey any traffic law. This above the law attitude is prevalent and comes from the top

They are guaranteed not to like my message, but I was careful to not make threats; only allude to how they are "stupid bastards" that should be "hung out to dry" along with other things one would not generally utter in church. I think Vrede or someone posted a photo of the kid in the not too distant past. Bastards. Dubmasses.

My bad, the raid was fraudulent from the start.Vrede wrote:If history is any guide they will be resigning shortly.![]()
Thanks. Habersham County Sheriff’s Office Anonymous Crime Tip System
My "tip":I'd begin with the Habersham County officials who will not pay the medical bills. The cops are interchangeable tools that acted stupidly in a particular moment while true evil reveals itself when there's time for reflection. Some armed gang is maiming the innocent toddlers of innocent parents with explosive ordinance and getting away with it without even having the balls to pay the medical bills.
Ex-deputy indicted after 'no-knock' raid that injured child
It may take 14 months, but neoplacebo always gets his man . . . or woman.

Apparently, the family is still trying to get Habersham County to pay the medical bills.

Edit: According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution in April there is a settlement but the attorney for the Phonesavanh family said the case “continues to be litigated.” Not sure what that means and why the AP article is lacking.
Official: Habersham-‘Baby Bou Bou’ settlement ‘fair as possible’

Scenes like this is why so many people are getting shot or getting the shit slapped out of them. That idiot needed a good head slapping to knock some real-world sense into her head.

I bet the IRS would like to investigate these two. It would be interesting to see how their claim of being free inhabitants and not needing a driver's license under the Articles of Confederation would sway the feds as to whether or not they are obligated to pay taxes as free inhabitants!

as he and the rest of his terrorists group have never paid taxes and he personally owes the taxpayers over a million in unpaid grazing fees and attempts to collect are met with armed resistance, along with support from faux news and the koch - it appears he won't have to pay his lease or his taxes
