Let's be generous and say that he meant the Twelfth Amendment to the United States Constitution. I wasn't aware that the procedure for electing the President and Vice President needed Trump's protection.
Bing! Bing! Bing! Bing!
It's still a sad amateur mistake, yet no one calls him out.
Eamus Catuli~AC 000000000101010202020303010304 020405....Ahhhh, forget it, it's gonna be a while.
To be fair, Rep. Mark Sanford, R-South Carolina, did call him out, perhaps the first positive thing I've ever posted about Sanford.
I think we're all on Trump gaffe and call out overload. They're so damn many of them, and dozens of individual ones would have sunk any other candidate. Weird America.

T-Rump said he will work with the NRA to protect the 2nd Article from another 7/11 attack by Two Corinthians while he does 69 with Ivanka at Area 51.
I would be a little proud of the GOP if it dumps Trump at the convention. Decent society has limits.
Even if they picked Lyin' Ted to replace him? I'd be more likely to be a little proud of them if the renounced all the anti-abortion, anti-gay, anti-poor, racist positions that the "culture warriors" have infested over the past few decades. Otherwise, they're still all despicable.
Baby steps. Sure, even Lyin' Ted, it's not like he'll win, but I suspect it would be someone else. If the best strategy they can come up with is to replace Trump with a sure loser of a theocratic creep, the GOP looks even worse than if they'd held their noses and stuck with Trump.

Maybe Trump suffers from " Affluenza " .... He's too Rich to be held responsible for his own actions...

Howard Dean's presidential run was sunk by a single overenthusiastic yell at a rally.
Trump maintains a steady stream of otherwise campaign-ending gaffes. He's like Jolt Cola: At a time when the soft drink industry was pushing low-calorie, low sugar, low caffeine drinks, Jolt launched with the motto "All the sugar and TWICE the caffeine!"
That creates the sort of fad that only lasts for about a year before it gets stale and everyone loses interest. Still long enough for a presidential campaign.
"Trump is a sick sociopath. He has no conscience. No feelings of guilt, remorse, empathy or embarrassment. He has never apologized to Carly [Fiorina], the disabled reporter or Senator McCain on the horrible things he said about them," said Humphrey, who served two terms in the Senate. "He has severe personality disorders and is not fit to be president."
And that's from a Republican convention delegate, former NH Senator Humphrey.
Thousands of Americans will march through Cleveland with sections of a wall made of fabric and stenciled and painted by artists (and kids!) to look like a real wall before attaching it to the 15,000 foot-long security fence that Cleveland is building to protect Trump from the voice of the people, a peaceful blockade of Trump’s convention.
Has anyone noticed that in the news when they speak of the Republican contender, they call him "Trump".
When they speak of the Democratic contender, they call her "Hillary".

“I have called out for the leaders of Iran ― Khomeini ― and the leaders of the Muslim world” to denounce the terrorist attack, Flynn told “Fox & Friends” on Friday morning.
“I can tick them off if you want, there’s a bunch of countries with a bunch of so-called leaders,” said the former Defense Intelligence Agency director.
Flynn’s offer to list Muslim leaders was significantly undermined, however, by the fact that his number-one example has been dead for almost 30 years.
Ruhollah Khomeini (pronounced Ko-MAY-Nee) died in 1989, having served as the ayatollah, or supreme leader, of Iran for 10 years beginning with the 1979 revolution. After his death, Khomeini was replaced by the current ayatollah, Ali Khamenei (pronounced KA-Ma-Nay).
People hear what they want to hear; especially if an opportunity to belittle someone presents itself. Flynn was obviously upset and stumbling in his tirade, and the Huff&Fluff reporter showed her ignorance in ridiculing him in a public venue. The least she could do is to have the balls of that bag of bones Ginsberg and apologize.

Why not? For most of the Republicans' 20+ year hate-fest against Hillary Clinton, she was overshadowed by Bill. So calling her "Clinton" didn't work. "Hillary Clinton" is unnecessarily long. So "Hillary" it is.
Trump on the other hand demands exclusive name recognition for "Trump", putting "Trump" in big letters on his buildings, plus all his golf courses, food items, airline, "university" scam, etc. And has a history of suing anyone else who happened to use the word "trump" in business.

Flynn shows his ignorance and Seth Milner insults the reporter and calls her ignorant for setting the record straight....

...and caps it by insulting Ginsberg for saying what many if not most Republican leaders have said about Trump - even after she apologizes. (She's hardly the first Supreme Court Justice to express political opinions.)
And even I thought Milner wasn't a Trump fanboy. Opps.

Flynn shows his ignorance and Seth Milner insults the reporter and calls her ignorant for setting the record straight.... Ever since he's been in charge, I've never heard the Iranian big-wig called KA-ma-nay. I've always heard "ko" and "Kuh" differentiated, but the ending was the same. "Kho"meini and "Kha"menei sounds identical; My point is the reporter being an asshole over a mere blurb.

(She's hardly the first Supreme Court Justice to express political opinions.) I'm in agreement with most that SCOTUS justices should stay out of politics. The possibility exists that they may be called upon to decide the election . . . again. My insult of Ginsberg stems from other reasons.
And even I thought Milner wasn't a Trump fanboy. Opps. I'm not. I would have voiced the same opinion had Hillary been the target.

Most of us use "Trump" and "Hillary" in this forum, too, for the obvious reasons that rstrong explains. And I as well.
