How does MadCaw get up in a tree, anyhow?
Awww. , Useless. So much for "Ignored". You fail again. Plus, Useless, you've been busted too many times for anyone to believe you're not reading my posts, anyhow. It's just your excuse for cowering. Awww.

The extremely limited context makes me think they were joking about being gay.
Does it really count as a grope if the gropee can't feel it?
The RepuQ establishment has been preparing to smear him for awhile now.

I've yet to see MadCaw's ad air, but the other RepuQs in NC11 and the Senate race are chewing each other up.

Hope the Dems are taking copious notes (FWIW).
Poll: Cawthorn has 'substantial' Republican primary decline; still 18 points over Edwards

Okay then, thanks.... The poll shows the 26-year-old, first-term Henderson County congressman's percentage of support from decided likely primary voters was 49% in March. But in April it dropped to 38%. The next-highest challenger, state. Sen. Chuck Edwards saw his support rise from 14% to 21%.
Early in-person voting for the 11th House District and other North Carolina races started April 28.
"The big question remains: Will Madison Cawthorn lose the primary on May 17th? The short answer: maybe," Blaine said (Differentiators Data)....
In Cawthorn's favor are a recent endorsement by the National Rifle Association and continued support from ex-President Donald Trump, who spoke with the congressman at an eastern North Carolina rally this month.
Other favorable factors include that he has a good chance of drawing more than 30% of the vote, which avoids a primary runoff — and it would also be difficult for Edwards to raise his numbers to higher than that by primary day on May 17, Blaine with the Differentiators said.
Looks like MadCaw will at least make it to a runoff.
MadCaw still might even win outright on May 17, and he's the only one that has a shot. It will be excellent to see Edwards get stomped!
I'm even more likely to vote for MadCaw now.

Honestly blows my mind that he could be elected to anything.
I rarely talked politics with my Republican friends in WNC, but I've got to believe they're smarter than this.
But never say never.

Yeah, and I knew a fair amount of "smart" (well, educated anyways) Republicans, doctors, lawyers, business owners, other type of professionals.
Obviously not as many medical professionals as you did, did you guys talk politics or steer clear?

Re: Cawthorn
There were some cons/Trumpettes, but I mostly avoided politics at work. Too depressing to learn of the righties and then have to work with them, and I tend to come on strong when I get worked up.
I once got asked in front of a small group if I was a Dem. "Nah, they're too conservative for me," sparked some baffled and nervous laughter.
Remember, there are tens of thousands of fundie hillbillies that we mostly never crossed paths with. What kind of idiot patient or family shares their extreme politics in an ER? It's like doing so where someone might spit in your food. I never retaliated other than by avoiding non-medical chit-chat, but I could have.
