A Nutjob A Day

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

This is almost as funny Solar's comment about learning critical thinking from Oxycodonebaugh.

Someone named American says, "I don't generally accept as true information unless it came from a "real" news website such as the Washington Examiner. However, an article by Admiral Lyons on the Washington Times suggests that this may be true "

So an opinion from a former Navy man who retired thirty years ago, opining about something that happened six months, isn't true unless a newspaper run by the Rev. Sun Myung Moon re-prints the Oped, then suddenly it should be believed. Love how he honestly believes he's demonstrating some skepticism about the oped at first. God these guys are the epitome of gullibility.

This one caught my eye:

http://conservativepoliticalforum.com/p ... -closings/

kramarat:
You're just mean. Why would you say that the children are suffering?

We are paying union teachers $75 K a year to distribute condoms and teach them that sex at 9 years old is healthy. When the condom breaks, or they forget to use one, we kill the offspring for free. It's Utopia. Stop being so old fashioned.

They also use the same device that the old time nutters used here and even more on
the old BRN forum: the thread subject that misrepresents what the source itself says.
Only a nutjob. The one about black babies costing less than monkeys for anthrax
vaccine testing is a prime example. The original post linked to a site that linked to a
Reuters article, but that article mentions neither black babies nor monkeys. They just
made it up and the wingnuts just repeated it. At least some did point out that the
Reuters' article didn't mention what the thread title implied, but the OP kept at it.

Uh oh, even the clown who calls himself "reality" is starting to question the statements being made on the nut job forum. Only a matter of time before they ban him.

A 2011 Australian News article on pizza sauce, easily debunked. Nine replies lapping it up like dogs eating their own puke (sorry dogs).

Not even fun anymore, just pathetic.

Congress to rule pizza sauce is a vegetable
« on: Today at 06:44:50 AM »
Like all of you, I ask myself what idiot dreamed up this nonsense and why did I never hear about it in the first place?
What I mean by idiot, is tomatoes are not vegetables, they are fruit. But after reading the article, I see it was the Pub/Tea party effecting a Dim/socialist Congressional move from earlier days, where the Left used the USDA to push control over school lunches, it was these mental midgets that claimed tomatoes to be a vegetable, so the GOP used their own stupidity against them.

Take that you leftist asses!

But Margo Wootan, director of nutrition policy at the Centre for Science in the Public Interest, said the legislation was about protecting pizza makers, not nutrition.

"Pepperoni pizza is not a vegetable," Ms Wootan said.

Ms Wootan said existing rules defined a full serving of vegetables as eight tablespoons, except for a "loophole" that set the amount of tomato paste required at two tablespoons, roughly what goes on a slice.

The USDA had proposed early this year to require eight tablespoons of tomato paste in one vegetable serving and limit school lunches to two servings per week of french fries or other starchy vegetables.

"The Congress basically stepped in to protect industry's ability to continue to sell two of the most unhealthy foods in the school lunch program: pizza and french fries," Ms Wootan said.

The Reagan administration was cutting subsidies to the National School Lunch Plan. To allow administrators to make up for lack of funding, ketchup was declared a vegetable.

The US Supreme Court declared the tomato a vegetable back in 1893. Instead of the technical botanical meaning, they based their decision on it usually being eaten as a main course instead of being eaten as a dessert.

That's why there is so much churn on that site. As soon as one nutty story is
proven false, others just as crazy show up. And on and on and on....

Some of the nutjobs are still having a little trouble with that blue state, red state
thing. Must be one of those low-info voters. :

For the most part, democrats own the city votes; white, black, and everything in between.
Outside the cities, the country runs pretty blue.

I went over and checked that out; first time I've ever been there. Incredible! Ignorance gone to seed.......I noticed a post by Solar saying that the CDC has a "Marxist agenda." Does this fall from the logic that the CDC tries to prevent ALL outbreaks of dangerous disease instead of only dangerous diseases contracted by wingnuts? Solar goes on blathering about how the CDC "it's not in the US and sees no reason to damage their reputation further." I always thought CDC was in Atlanta and that their reputation was pretty good.

Jesus Christ. It just keeps getting stranger and stranger over there:

Charliemyboy
He has referred to "My Muslim religion." on national television. He said at the UN, "The future does not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam."
He has members of the Muslim Brotherhood, which was formed precisely to Islamize the world and establish a world-wide Caliphate, to the White House frequently. So frequently, it's like their own little Alhambra. His "Wedding ring," is a ring he wore prior to his marriage (There are photos) and a close-up photo shows Arabic inscriptions on each side. There is a word in Arabic, Taqiyya, which means that it is permissable to lie in furtherance of Islam. I know these people. I have lived among them. I know their goals, morals, and their plans for us, the Infidels. Whether anyone else believes it is unimportant, because it is too late to stop them. They have for all intents and purposes won while most of us were buying "Islam is a religion of peace." It isn't. It never was.

There seems to be no Kool Aid too stupid for him to chug. What a dumbass.

Is Tertius over there? He's the only other person I've ever seen who could inhale that many conspiracies at one time.

Tennessee wins. Those hillbillies have been trying to out-stupid South Carolina, Florida, Arkansas, Mississippi, and any other state that seems stuck on stupid. Well, Tennessee has taken a commanding lead.

Image

It seems they installed some new sinks in the state capitol so the custodians could better fill and empty their mop buckets. Some Pub legislators saw them and decided that they must be some sort of Muslim foot-washing lavatories and began to investigate.

And these are the geniuses who make public policy and decide what pseudo-science misinforms Tennessee children.

Dumbasses.

It must be a Muslim foot-washing sink....cleverly installed next to a high-voltage breaker panel.
And what's behind those two plain panels? Co-incidence or planned?
