Who knows, maybe we are better than our 6 - 6 record.

In Coach Pearl News. Although he did damage his mask to the point that the tv commentators kept bring it up, he is getting better and the mask he wore at the bammer game wasn't completely destroyed.
Correction:

Turned out that tomorrow would not be our 1st game with our two best players. Our point guard went out inbyhe a&m game with a concussion (Jan. 2) and he's still out on 2/13 due to concussion protocol.

Ouch, 80 - 82 vs @ Kentucky (6-13, 5-7 Conf).

I think I heard the TV guy say at the end that was the 19th time in a row Kentucky had beat Auburn. Must be the refs.

I didn't hear that comment, but either he was wrong or you mis-heard him.
I think it may be true of home games, but we beat them last month at Auburn and twice last year.

I'm not sure what you meant by that. My earlier comment about Powell was out of concern for the kid. He's been out over a month from a concussion.

Opps. Yep, 19 Lexington games since 1/9/1988.
https://auburntigers.com/sports/mens-ba ... entucky/84

Auburn's overall record is 21-92.
Its Longest Losing Streak ever was 18 Games from 2/28/2001 - 3/14/2015.
Its Home Record is 16-32.
Before today it was 5-5 in its Last 10 Matchups, not bad at all vs traditional powerhouse Kentucky.

Isn't this an unusually long time for concession protocol? He's been out since 1/2.

I don't know the protocol, but a medically rational one would be adjusted for the severity and duration of symptoms, along with any history of prior concussions.

UNC scored 48 points in the whole frickin' game??!! WTF, did they go back to the old "Four Corners"?

"1982 ACC championship game between the University of North Carolina Tar Heels and the University of Virginia Cavaliers, UNC held the ball for roughly the last seven minutes of the second half to nurse a small lead, eventually winning 47–45"

Pre shot clock?

At least yesterday was vs reigning champ #9 Virginia (15-3, 11-1 ACC) again, who the Tar Heels held to just 60.

Yeah, some might say the Four Corners was the reason for the shot clock.
Still - 48 points in a game? What's the average score for a girls high school game?

SDSU has received a letter from Nahua lawyer, Federico Acosta, requesting they discontinue use of the name "Aztec" as a name for university athletic teams. Acosta said that the indigenous people known as "Aztecs" rarely reached a height of 5'6", never played basketball, and portraying them as fearless warriors is derogatory.

They should feature the detestable human sacrifice and getting trounced by a handful of Spaniards, instead?

Geez, they're missing an opportunity to rehab their image.

Coach K is retiring after the upcoming season. I hope he ends with another championship.

Coach K is one of if not the best there ever was. UNC has zip or less chance of winning the championship next year. I'm good with Dook sending the GOAT off with a big win.
