In 2021, Snopes confirmed that Czechoslovakia had not sent female alpine skiers to the 1972 Winter Olympics.

No surprise s/he'd lie about something easily verified or debunked. But most of the time to be able to qualify for an Olympic team, you have to have a record in other national or international competitions. Any record or pics that Ivana was even a decent skiier?
