Sickophants

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

Fraud "hoax" - not a hoax. Trump lost hundreds of millions.

Defamation "hoax" - not a hoax. Trump lost tens of millions and got deemed a rapist.

Not my new U.S. Attorney. Whack9's family - sucks to be them.

'Lying And Gaslighting': Elon Musk Torched After Unbelievable Claim About Trump
Not many people are buying his latest claim about the president.

... “I think the president is a good man,” Musk said. “I think he is an honest man, and I have yet to see him do anything mean or anything that is wrong, that I would say morally wrong. Not even once.”
:wtf:
Trump lies so often that fact-checkers often struggle to keep track during his speeches and other events. During Trump’s first term, The Washington Post documented 30,573 false or misleading claims.

His morals have also come under question repeatedly, from his constant grifts ― such as hawking $60 Bibles, pushing personal meme coins, and NFTs ― to his lies about the 2020 election, culminating in a violent assault on the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021.

The Dalai Lama has said Trump lacks “moral principle,” and Pope Francis condemned his family separation policy for undocumented immigrants during his first term as “immoral.” The Right Rev. Mariann Budde, the Episcopal bishop of Washington, also called out Trump’s lack of morals in 2020.

“We need moral leadership, and he’s done everything to divide us,” she told the Post.

Earlier this year, during a sermon Trump attended, she called on him to “have mercy” on those who are “scared” because of his policies. He later demanded that she apologize.

Trump was also convicted last year on 34 felony charges in his hush money trial, and found liable for sexual abuse in another case, among the many legal proceedings against him over the years.

Given all that ― and more ― critics were quick to call Musk out on his own social media website:

Wanna hear something funny?
Pretty damn hard to find something "morally wrong" with someone when one's own moral compass does not exist.
What an absolutely absurd thing to say. It's so ridiculous that it's meant to overwhelm a person's brain into shorting out.
Why would anyone ever choose “I have yet to see him do anything mean” as a way to describe someone 🤔
if someone asked my friend to divulge something "people would not know" about me and the first thing they said was "he's a good man"...lol
Like…nothing at all??

Image
Elon Musk says he’s “never seen Trump do anything morally wrong.”

That tells us everything we need to know about Elon Musk’s morality.

If coups, porn payoffs, racism, mocking POWs, & 30,000+ lies don’t register as wrong…

then the man building AI, rockets, and social media megaphones has no moral compass.

Also Trump:
• Tried to overthrow an election
• Paid off a porn star
• Called for terminating the Constitution
• Mocked POWs, Gold Star families, and disabled reporters
• Lied over 30,000 times in office
• Peddled white nationalism on Truth Social

But sure, Elon. Morally spotless.

#MuskMorality #CultOfTrump #EthicsNotIncluded #FascismWithWifi
Not even once? That’s either blind loyalty or the world’s worst memory.

Kristi Noem Refused To Say Who Financed Some Of Her Travel. It Was Taxpayers Who Were On The Hook.
An Associated Press analysis has found that South Dakota taxpayers subsidized Gov. Kristi Noem’s cross-country campaigning to the tune of hundreds of thousands of dollars.

As then-Gov. Kristi Noem crisscrossed the country — stumping for President Donald Trump and boosting her political profile beyond her home state — she refused to reveal what her extensive travel was costing taxpayers.

In the weeks since Noem became Trump’s Homeland Security secretary, that mystery has been solved: South Dakota repeatedly picked up the tab for expenses related to her jet-setting campaigning.

An Associated Press analysis of recently released travel records found more than $150,000 in expenses tied to Noem’s political and personal activity and not South Dakota business. That included numerous trips to Palm Beach, Florida, where Trump resided before retaking office....

I don't think her vest is even strapped on and she's holding that gun like she's skeered of it.

Combat Barbie

Someone should be skeered. I wondered about this:
Iraq Veteran Slams Kristi Noem For “Pointing M4 Muzzle at Agent” — “No One Stopped Her”

... Alex Horton, an Iraq veteran and military reporter for The Washington Post, replied: “Noem is pointing the M4 muzzle at an agent with an open dust cover, indicating a chambered round. It’s the worst possible place to point it. No one stopped her, including the agent to her left, who should know better but also has bad muzzle discipline.”

... Political pundit and self-described “Common Sense” conservative David Fitzpatrick also voiced concern regarding Noem’s handling of the rifle.

Fitzgerald wrote: “Great, okay but could we at least practice better gun safety measures for a photo op? I appreciate the work, the collaboration, the optics, but gun handling is a pet peeve of mine. Muzzle down, or pointed in a safe position loaded or unloaded – unless engaging a target.”

The Silver Surfer I'm thinking about was the trump campaign's digital or IT guy on his first campaign. Can't remember his name, but he is real tall, lives in FL, and his wife called the cops on him two or three years ago because he was drunk and waving a gun around. The cops came and arrested him for something. At the time he was wearing only shorts....no shoes, no shirt. I just found out his name by reading the 2016 campaign wikipedia stuff.....Brad Parscale.
