Re: COVIDiots
In the eyes of the American administration he was not notorious even though they knew he was. They just didn't talk about it. In the eyes of the average citizen in PI (the Phillipine Islands) he was very notorious. You have to learn to read between the lines. If you don't, you will be hard pressed to realize what's going on. But, hell, you're already there.Ulysses wrote: ↑Sat Jul 31, 2021 4:49 pmFirst you say Marcos was not notorious, and then in the next sentence you say he was notorious for more than 20 years.neoplacebo wrote: ↑Sat Jul 31, 2021 3:44 pmBullshit. Re: COVIDiots
Ok, let me break it down for you. Marcos was "our" (the US's) dictator in the sense that "we" (the US) could count on him to do what "we" (the US) told him to do. "We" (the US) gave him lots of money over the course of about 25 years to make sure he did what he was told. Because of this long running right out in the open sham, Marcos was by default awarded a status somewhere above notorious even though "we" (the US) knew all along he was notorious in the sense that he would cut off his mother's head and shit in her neck if we told him to.....notorious. Meanwhile, the average citizen knew all along that Marcos was notorious; they knew this because he instituted martial law, jailed his political rivals, broke heads, killed entire families....notorious. Sometimes you have to be able to read between the lines. It can mean the difference between getting your ass kicked or walking off unscathed. But I'm gonna make sure that should I reply to any more of your dumbass comments you will not possibly misunderstand what I'm trying to tell you.Ulysses wrote: ↑Sat Jul 31, 2021 7:28 pmOr, perhaps you should just work on writing what you actually mean?neoplacebo wrote: ↑Sat Jul 31, 2021 7:08 pmIn the eyes of the American administration he was not notorious even though they knew he was. The clever nuance in what neoplacebo wrote was crystal clear. As usual, you are incapable of examining whether you might be at fault, pussy. Plus, rhetoric without nuance and turn of phrase would be as dull as, well, your life. Of course, I'm not including that time that you got your ass kicked. That really must have been something to see!

No, what you said, first, was that Marcos was not notorious. Then you said he was notorious. If you meant something else, then you were very sloppy in that. That's all.neoplacebo wrote: ↑Sat Jul 31, 2021 7:43 pmOk, let me break it down for you. No, you were trying to be clever and you failed miserably. Maybe you need to lighten up a bit.neoplacebo wrote: ↑Sat Jul 31, 2021 8:00 pmAnyone who has even a rudimentary grasp of US foreign policy over the last fifty years could have easily got the point of my sarcastic post. You apparently like to twist words and facts around in an effort to simulate brilliance. Sorry, but most often you fail in that. You come across instead as rather goofy.

I was going to say something about our unique insight having spent significant time in the Philippines. However, you are correct that understanding your post did not require it. Rather, it merely required the basic knowledge of 1970s-80s world events and fundamental English comprehension that Useless woefully lacks.neoplacebo wrote: ↑Sat Jul 31, 2021 8:00 pmVrede too wrote: ↑Sat Jul 31, 2021 7:53 pmThe clever nuance in what neoplacebo wrote was crystal clear. The problem with some of you... you wind up kicking you own asses. The saddest part is you are not cognizant enough to realize it.

When neoplacebo wishes to be goofy he knows that's what he's doing, and he pulls it off brilliantly. This was not one of those times. Ferdinand Marcos was deadly serious business. You are the one being goofy here and you're way too goofy to realize it, Useless failure.

Super-stoned neoplacebo is still well more than a match for your "wits" any day of the week and twice on Saturday, not that it's saying much.
There you go again, too stupid to know that just responding to the notifications is a victory for me. I'll let you in on another secret - Every time someone quotes me responding to you it's no accident. Instead, they are intentionally abetting my trashing of you. Enjoy! You see, EVERYONE here is smarter than you, even 1FATCAN.
