She had so little air time previously it was kind of bizarre. 22 years she's been applying and that kind of implosion?

Which reminds me of something else I've wondered. If you apply to get on Survivor and get through the first cut or so, you've got a decent chance of getting on the show. What sort of idiot tries to get on Survivor and doesn't bother to learn how to make fire?

Maybe by even watching Survivor you could pick something up, ala Boston Rob in Heroes vs. Villians.


And along that line - every effin' season of Amazing Race has put contestants into little European stick shift cars. What sort of idiot tries to get on Amazing Race and doesn't bother to learn how to drive stick, at a minimum of the learnable skills regularly required.

Oh, man, I hated to see Noelle go. Major inspiration, and an apparently decent person. Her effort on that balance beam was incredible. And I may have understood in theory the need to get rid of her, I think those she took along on her reward should have given her one pass out of gratitude and courtesy.

Yeah, that was a good one. I'm not sorry to see Cody go, though - haven't liked him since the first. Glad Karla didn't go home with her idol in her pocket.

Spoiler:

For a season that was not compelling it sure turned on a dime. Jesse's blindside move really may have been the best in history. Karla was going if she didn't win and Jesse was going to fire. Either probably would've won.


Three likable finalists. I'd been rooting for Cassidy for a few episodes and I thought she played the most well rounded game even though she didn't have a big move on her resume, but none of the finalists did. Going into final tribal she had my vote.



That really was an outstanding final tribal by Gabler. It sure seemed to sway the jury and I could sense it from my couch.

I can only think of two other times when a final jury tribal won a player the game, Todd in China and Sophie in South Pacific.

Donating the million is the icing on the cake, the right guy won. (and telegraphed the winner in retrospect, when he said he was going to do that in confessional and didn't mention it at final he won the mensch award too, but I should've seen it coming.)
