I bet he was a prop in every movie he was in. One was a tobacco store Indian statue, three were as a corpse, and two were as a tumbleweed. All non speaking parts. Or maybe he is just saying he's been to the movies several times. Who knows?

Why s/he posts to CPF about it;
Why the CPFers care;

I will guess they never met a liar or conspiracy theorist they didn't like, so glomming onto Jodi was only natural. Even glomming onto someone once removed from Jodi is quite a thrill for them. Plus I think she was thorough....didn't she shoot, stab, and beat her former lover? Lots of conspiracy material in that to work with.

I remember as a kid being herded out into the school yard to see JFK's plane flying overhead on its way into or out of the local airport. He was slated to give a speech at Yale. It was a prop plane, because the local airport couldn't handle jet landings/takeoffs.

He was assassinated in Dallas about a year later.

Of course I could always be wrong.

I know that it's a radical idea, but have the CPFers ever considered just not using NSAbook/Meta? It works for me.

Looks like the fact that their own little universe of stupid would not be nearly as big as it is if not for Facebook flies right over their heads. And I liked the supplicant sales manager's comment that no matter how long you polish a turd it won't shine. That dude would know.

I clicked the link and quickly was sorry I bothered.

Those folks are losing their minds over a private company changing its official name. Their lack of purpose would be amusing if it weren't so sad.

Solar and company are probably besides themselves with envy about Zuckerberg's success with a relatively politically neutral service, while their little shithole of a RWNJ website appears to be generating lots of compost.

Not that I care, mind you.

It's certainly possible that CPF regulars like to trash Facebook for reasons much the same as we like to trash CPF: to have something antithetical to our views to mock and bash.

I use Facebook on a daily basis but I've been careful to lock it down... and I don't accept friend requests from people I don't know. When I see others with hundreds of Facebook "friends", I think, "Oh, really?". What does annoy me about FB is all the ads, and no matter how many I block, more come back to clutter the screen. So it's about as useless as broadcast commercial TV in that respect.

Except that CPFers are too dumb to get how good NSAbook has been for right-wing extremists and Trumpettes, the limited bannings notwithstanding. It's no friend to lefties. Also, NSAbook is uber-capitalist, as you point out.

I do not understand their hatred of facebook from their perspective. It's not a liberal bastion, it's a right-wing misinformation distribution point.

They love misinformation.... so the whole thing is just bizarre to me.

I don't care that they hate it, I don't use it..... but don't they know they're screwing their own side? So odd.
