Why is it that white trash always have this certain "look" to them. I can't quite explain it. But they always look a certain way. Not just choice of style. They just look fucking dumb.Seth Milner wrote:Friggin' rednecks.JTA wrote:Fixed:

Re: Trump
For months we were told that Trump would "act more Presidential" after the primaries happened. If anything the opposite happened.
We've also been told not to worry about Trump once he's in the White House, because he'll be surrounded by level-headed staff. It's hard to trust that claim when Trump keeps having to replace his top campaign staff, and the replacements keep getting worse.

Manafort's resignation comes a day after The Associated Press reported that confidential emails from Manafort's firm contradicted his claims that he had never lobbied on behalf of Ukrainian political figures in the U.S.
Emails between Manafort's deputy, Rick Gates, also a top Trump adviser, and the lobbying firm Mercury LLC showed that Manafort's firm directly orchestrated a covert Washington lobbying operation on behalf of Ukraine's then-ruling political party.
The effort included not just legislative outreach but also attempts to sway American public opinion and gather political intelligence on competing lobbying efforts in the U.S.
Manafort and Gates never registered as foreign agents for their work as required under federal law.

It just keeps getting worse.
Is This Why Trump Is Changing Gears? Report Says Manafort Organized Anti-NATO Protests
Full disclosure: I've helped organized anti-NATO protests, too, but I wasn't being paid by Putin and I never will be a campaign manager for a POTUS candidate.

Re: Trump
Ironic, isn't it, that xenophobic Trump's campaign manager was (is?) an unregistered foreign agent. Can you imagine what Trump and the Trumpettes would be saying if it was a Hillary staffer?
I had to look up who is Hillary's campaign manager, Robby Mook, and that's how it should be. I learned this lesson decades ago, but that was in a small city mayoral race. Amateurs.

Plausible theory:
Why Trump Isn’t Tweeting About the Olympics
You’d think two weeks of winning might be a golden opportunity. For this campaign, it's just the opposite.

Re: Trump
Sounds right to me. Trump's whole shtick is playing "ain't it awful" and any positive news is bad for him. Sad, too, because while the Olympics have never been politics-free, it's something that members of any party can be proud of and support.

All of our past presidents were transgendered?

Here's a really good essay about Trump by a guy who works for The Donald's son-in-law...

Re: Trump
Oh, look! Sarah Palin is warning Trump against backs down on his plan to deport all illegal immigrants!
This is the same Sarah Palin who went on Bill O'Reilly's show in the last election cycle, only to have him play ping-pong with her own illegal immigration policy. She started by promising to deport them all. O'Reilly reminded her of the disaster it could be for all the farmers who depend on them. So she flip-flopped and said that she'd grant a mass-amnesty to those who had jobs.
