Just goes to show.....things ain't always what they seem to be. Sexual preferences and behavior are the most vague aspects of just about anyone; I once worked with a guy who was convicted of having sex with his teenage daughter but I would have never suspected it.

Demons are one of those things that evolved over the centuries in Christianity and earlier religions. Both good and evil, they were, er, demonized by the 5th century AD.

Because I was taught when you quote someone's words, you use quotation marks. If you don't wish to quote the entire line, you break it up with .......
If you quote within a quote or want to characterize something, you use '.....'

I would think such a grammatically picky person would know that an ellipse only has three periods ... with a space at each end.

But probably when you were taught, there was no such thing as a quote box.

Hmm. Have consult Strunk when I get a mo. Seems like many of the rules we were taught back in the dark ages (like Mr. B) have changed in the computer age. Two spaces between sentences, for example.

You can also put other punctuation at the end of an ellipse, for example, at the start of a list, with portions deleted, one might say, "The following list ...:

It's a popular opinion that the word 'lunatic' is derived from lunar ellipses; hence a full lunar ellipse evolved from that........maybe not in that order;
however, here you can order your own lunar calendar, since you're funny that way.
