.... and we're under attack

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

I couldn't get the site to refresh in the last while. But after I closed my the browser tab and opened a new one, it's working normally and quickly.

If Linux load averages mean anything to you.... we usually hover around .1 or less.... at peak we were at 57. <yikes>

Got an email about messages in my inbox- there are none. Related?

I can handle all those- it's the black helicopters I worry about. Don't wanna end up in some dark tunnel under an abandoned Walmart in East Asshole Corners, Texass.

I always wondered what he sells and if the appellation "super" was awarded or self imposed. But I didn't wonder very much.

Insurance.

Did he strike you as the sort that anyone else would consider to be "super"?

You talking about the guy who used to post here as "supersales..."?
I think I know who that is. Met him a couple of times before I saw him in the forum. Told him not to darken my door again. Sometimes writes right-wing letters to the AC-T. Might not be him, but it sure sounds like it.

What real world interaction led you to do that, O Really?

Ah, good times - Supsalemgr.

Still posting to CPF:

Well, if it's the guy I'm thinking of, he used to have an office in our building maybe 7 years ago or so. Seemed pretty decent to speak to in passing in the hallway. One day we're both heading out toward lunch at the same time and he offered to go together. About half way through lunch, he started wanting to sell me stuff. I told him I really wasn't interested. He said OK and went on to some other topic. So sometime later we went to lunch again and he got off on Obama this and Obama that and yammer-yammer, and I told him that I was his worst nightmare in the voting birth - a liberal Democrat who knows facts, and that maybe we wouldn't discuss politics. Then sometime after that, he sat down with me down in the lunch shop and again started his right-wing yammer. I told him that I had no interest in his services nor his politics and maybe we weren't cut out to be acquaintances. I've seen letters to the AC-T signed by him, and the writing and ummmm, "ideas" expressed sound just like super-S.

They all sound alike to me. ;)

I wouldn't know, but our Supsalemgr claimed to be a sales manager, not a salesman. Was your guy old? Supsalemgr supposedly is - retired or semi-retired when he was here.

My guy would have probably called himself a manager - he wasn't just a garden variety salesman. But I don't think he was with Allstate. More of a broker sort. Guess there's more than one right-wing yahoo in the insurance business.

Could be him. I think he was on the greenville Gannett forum. I know he was on the one I went to after greenville.

I don't think so, might have been a spammer I deleted -- and their private messages may have went with it.

Everything's been calm since last night --- someone was having some fun I guess.

Which is really sort of ironic in my mind.... I mean, any right winger that would work in insurance.
