Limey TV

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

Limey TV

Unread post by billy.pilgrim »

Limey, 3 days in London 53 years ago is the extent of my direct contact with your country since the family pulled up stakes in Wales in 1755 and moved to Philadelphia (West Chester actually), but mostly it's been books, tv and movies that have served to describe your country - so totally like and completely unlike our own.

After watching several made over there shows on Netflix I have a few questions.

1) are there really quaint 1 lane roads through the countryside, or are those long, paved one lane roads in Wales and throughout other rural areas just some rich guy's inherited plunder?

2 is a 2 parter) (a) are there really densely populated small towns with huge green areas and parks surrounded by huge sparsely populated agriculture lands and (b) why haven't these agricultural lands been divided and sold in 1 to 5 acre farmettes for people to junk up with non-farm things?

3) why do your tv characters look so much like regular people? Wouldn't it be better if everyone looked more like fashion models.

The CC feature has helped me a lot cause y'all got some more kinda funny words for things.
Trump: “We had the safest border in the history of our country - or at least recorded history. I guess maybe a thousand years ago it was even better.”
