Israel Keyes, 34, now linked to at least eight murders throughout the United States in the past 11 years, was a childhood friend and neighbor in Stevens County, Wash., of terrorists Chevie and Cheyne Kehoe — two racist brothers now serving lengthy prison sentences for murder and attempted murder.


“The two families, the Keyeses and the Kehoes, were neighbors and friends and lived about a half mile apart off Aladdin Road north of Colville” in Stevens County, Wash., a source with direct knowledge of the situation said. “The kids in both families were home-schooled and they sometimes attended a Christian Identity church called The Ark, just up the road from their homes,” the source said.

Whoa, I remember seeing some sort of "cops greatest hits" type tv show some years ago that featured the Kehoe brothers; if memory serves, they were pulled over because they didn't feel as if they needed a license plate for their vehicle.....it was an actual cop cam of the encounter, the cops talking to one brother and all of a sudden the other brother gets out and starts shooting at the cops, the cops start shooting back at the brothers, the brothers get back into their (non license plated) vehicle and speed away. The only thing I took away from the whole thing is 1. always have a license plate and 2. cops and brothers in Washington state are not good shooters in close combat situations.

I translate that to read that your disdain for home schooling is because the majority of people who home school are church-goers and believe the Bible, and have personal religious convictions concerning evolution and creation.

Since you have no religious convictions, you feel those parents are teaching their children contrary to what you feel they should be taught; and everyone should be taught what you personally believe; that's why you ridicule them with your attempt at humor in your spelling 'schooled' as 'sculed'; and your belief that their kids aren't receiving a "real education".
