Forum "maintenance" off and on this weekend Sat/Sun

There may be periods where the forum is not working. I need to do some file moving around.... we'll no longer be "www.blueridgedebate.com/forum", just "www.blueridgedebate.com".


That's the goal anyway, I'll try to keep the outages short. If you're typing up a long response, maybe copy the text before hitting submit so you don't lose your post if we're down at that moment.

I did notice a few of my posts, for which I'm sure I hit the "Submit" button on, didn't show up later.

No biggie, I'm also sure they were not that important, and contrary to popular opinion I was able to remember the content and recreate them as needed.

One note: The blue capitol "B" is no longer showing up for the BRD tab in the "Menu Bar" in my browser.

Easy fix for that.

Sign out of BRD.
Un check the Remember Me icon.
Remove BRD bookmarks.
Delete your browsing history.
Delete your cookies.

Should be good to go.

Since then I frequently get this message when I navigate to a new page:

Misdirected Request

The client needs a new connection for this request as the requested host name does not match the Server Name Indication (SNI) in use for this connection.

It's no big deal since I just go back a page, repeat the same action and always get where I was trying to go. Just thought I'd let you know.

Hm.... made some chances that probably have zero to do with that issue -- I've never seen it myself. Next time it happens can you copy and paste the URL it happened on and send it to me?

I can do that. It happened once this morning but for a while it was happening pretty much all the time.

The other post I made about this didn't capture the above statement......not long ago I would get this a lot of times. Now I get it maybe every third or fourth time I log in and try to read posts.
