Republicans list their demands, .... or else....

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

Republicans list their demands, .... or else....

Suspend the debt limit until December 2014.
Delay Obamacare for a year.
Include tax reform measures along the lines of the Rep. Paul Ryan principles.
Agree to a slew of environmental issues: Approve the Keystone pipeline, kill EPA clean air and climate regulations, increase drilling.
Approve "regulatory reforms" including the REINS Act, which would basically gut the executive authority to make any regulations.
Implement spending cuts, including reforming retirement programs, the child tax credit ("to prevent fraud"), and, of course, ending Dodd-Frank.
Reforming health spending, including tort reform.

Oh god please don't give in Obama. Let these clowns all lose their office.

Not a rational move for them , but it does put all their looniness out there for everyone to see at once.

Shotgun politics; splendid. They've already managed to cause our triple A rating go to a double. It's like they don't realize that since our money isn't backed up with anything but the "full faith and credit of the United States" and if you cause that faith and credit to be deliberately put at risk......I call that treason. Dumbasses.

Yeah, it's as if they don't realize that since our money isn't backed up with anything other than the "full faith and credit of the United States" and they deliberately put that faith and credit at risk. I call that treason. They've already managed to cause our triple A credit rating to become downgraded to a double for the first time a couple of years ago. If there's such an uproar to change a law, why should we not go through the traditional, normal way of changing or repealing a law? Prohibition was a Constitutional amendment....it lasted a long time. It didn't change overnight. Dumbasses.
