1. Biden is a presidential candidate, but currently has no official government role; Trump is President*.
2. Biden made his remarks at a "fundraiser"; Trump's was an official statement on national coverage.
3. Biden acknowledged and corrected his error; Trump didn't and isn't likely to. Will probably deny saying it.
4. Biden (probably) wasn't reading his comment; Trump apparently went off-trail from his teleprompter and screwed up.

Yeah, it's incredible how this stuff gets by, even for a fun fluff piece. Except for being four-legged hairy critters, an elk doesn't look anything at all like a moose. So maybe the caption person has never seen a moose or elk, then why pick "moose." A lot wrong with whatever they were "thinking" like, moose don't generally herd or travel close together. There are only about 60ish moose in Oregon anyway, and they're on the other side of the state.
