Note: This is not to say that other schools, Clemson, OR and WA for example , are more ethical. They're just too sucky in basketball to attract this level of corruption.

There's a good reason for the intention of the rule. Technically Coach K did violate the law, but not the intent of the law. He was right to report the violation and hopefully everyone will move on without further penalty

It was a similar nothing event that Pearl didn't report and then lied about that cost him his Tennessee job. There's a lack of respect from other coaches and sports writers that still follows him because of the way he handled a minor chickenshit violation.

South Alabama almost beat us. Comfortable 14 point lead with about 8 minutes left and they went on a 20 to 5 run to take the lead with 1 minute left. We won with 2 seconds left 70 to 69.
