Fingers crossed it dissipates into a tropical depression, bee lines towards Greenville, then picks up steam over Lake Hartwell turning into a cat 2 right above my place of work, then promptly turns into a tropical depression again once it leaves the premises. And also lightly drizzles my shitty wannabe lawn for a few days to save me money. And blows the leaves off all of the trees surrounding my property into my neighbors yards so I don't have to rake anything.

Mar-a-Lago ... is located in Palm Beach County on the Palm Beach barrier island, with the Atlantic Ocean to the east and Florida's Intracoastal Waterway to the west.

It could get swamped by a Cat 4 near miss even without landfall.

Trump also said in a meeting with officials from FEMA that he had never heard of a category 5 storm, a claim he’s been making for at least two years.

For example, the headline of this Tampa Bay Times story from September 2017 is: “Trump on Irma: ‘I never even knew a Category 5 existed.’” Yes, he actually said that. In 2017.

According to CNN’s Nikki Carvajal and Manu Raju, “Dorian is the fourth category 5 hurricane to threaten the United States since Trump has taken office.”

God, Trump is dumb. But we already knew that. Just ignore him and stay safe if you’re actually in Dorian’s path.

To be fair, maybe he meant that Alabama is endangered by evacuees from Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina and Georgia, a frightening prospect for any state.
