It is true that Obama did not deserve the Nobel Peace Prize. However, the Nobel Committee has often given the award based on the hope of spurring future action, and Obama humbly acknowledged the aspirational nature of his award and accepted on behalf of America rather than claim personal merit.

Sadly, the Committee's hopes for Obama did not quite pan out, but they tried.

In contrast, POSPOTUS has done nothing to inspire such hopes, nor anything that deserves rewarding.
