Gun Legislation

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

Could be. Even probably. But you have to rule on what actually happened, not what he thought might have. And what he did was shoot somebody jumping out the bushes at him. Again, I wouldn't personally let him totally off for it, but I do think he has a better story than most "skeered accidental" shooters do.
We need a new law with a wide range of punishments for when other laws don't quite fit:

Not only should they be denied tax exempt status, they should be forced to pay tax for the past thirty years or whenever they went from a gun safety type organization to a fascist nutjob circle jerk type outfit. I mean, goddamn, any fucking club that is too sleazy for Oliver North to participate in is really over the fucking top and should be shut down within three days. shit

I am sure this will throw panic and pandelirium into the stupid gullible SW Virginia folks that exist in the areas that begin about two miles from me. And they will reinforce each others' ignorance geometrically for as long as this stays in force.

 I often go over to VA to buy cigarettes since they have a lower tax on them. May have to stop smoking or get a gun and smoke.
