Clemson's offense will receive plenty of attention and praise after tonight's performance and rightfully so, but what another legit showing from Clemson's defense. Dabo Swinney challenged his guys this week to man up against a downhill rushing attack that featured 250-pound running back A.J. Dillon, who's one of the most talented backs in the ACC, and an offensive line that bullied N.C. State for four quarters last week.

And Clemson's defense -- front seven in particular -- delivered.

I think the jump was part of the plan, but would call it a trick play, regardless. RB Deon Jackson throws once per year. This year his QB Rating is -200.
