Forum Stability

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

Hey guys,

I realize there is a problem with stability and we're going on and offline.

I'll try to do some work on it this afternoon. I know what the problem is just need the time to figure out what's causing it.

Thanks

Idk if this helps you figure it out, but you've lost most of the info. in the header.

Thanks for all you do.

Yeah, I was wondering about that, especially the trump tweets. For a minute, I thought he had died. Or quit playing golf.

Well, that went better than expected, the forum was still online when I got home!

Only thing I knew this morning was we were out of disk space. I deleted what I could this morning before leaving to go claim my Obama check (I was also out of minutes on my Obama phone), and it got us back online but I had no idea for how long.

Turns out, a particular log file had grown very large and ate up all the space. It's now deleted and we're all good.

As much as I wouldn't cry if Trump died, I've just done all custom development separate from the forum software to keep it simple to upgrade either one individually. I didn't enable the custom header stuff as I was running out the door this morning on the off chance that was causing it.

Mischief managed.

P.S. The national debt is not populating but I believe it's because the government website I'm pulling it from is currently down.

Good work, Banni.

But can we lure more cons here?

I need more sparring practice.
I think that was the hope behind Just the Facts & Not the Alternative Facts. No luck so far. We've never had a recruiting strategy, but I don't think that anyone's ever objected to the idea of having one. Our origin 7! years ago was as refugees from a newspaper comment section that shut down then switched to being facebook-based. It had it's own natural recruiting, but all we've had since is slow attrition. Apparently, being infamous on CPF and LNF hasn't done much for us in winding up more than a couple of cons enough to briefly join. They like nanny forums.

Does that Fogle guy still write his swill for the local paper down there? He was always a good nutjob to whack. I hope he has an Obama gate in his back yard that nearly electrocutes him when he touches it.

It LOOKS like his last column was in Aug 2017, and there's no obit.

I can't wait until February; it's when i play my best golf; generally have the place all to myself and am able to whack the beejesus out of anything in sight. I carry hand grenades in my golf bag and tee them off at random intervals after pulling the pin; some go off in midair. There's just nothing like it in the regular season.

Hang in there this and every afternoon. We know what the problem is and what's causing it, but nothing will fix it.

Hey, guys. Lately every time I see a cat squat and take a cat shit I think of 1 cat fan. I've not seen a dog dragging it's ass on the ground lately in an effort to alleviate an infestation of worms but I feel sure that next time I do see this, it will remind me of how a cat would be a fan of it.
