Hunting

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

He doesn't get along with his neighbor.
I could not ask for a better neighbor than the one who lives next door.

W was this in NC out off 64? Just curious what mountain is all.
Yeah, in that general area.

I was thinking about getting a licence to hunt Mexican Galax Pickers, but it turns out no licence is required. You just have to say "I looked through my scope and the brown guy picking galax looked like a deer."

So are you telling us you wish to go shooting for Mexicans? Figures, no real surprise here.

Not all pickers are poachers. You gonna check a permit first?

Opps - I mentioned the "M" word - sorry to ruin your Sunday. But you might like to look up "adjective" and then decide whether I was joking about hunting Mexicans or hunting Galax pickers who were Mexican. ;)

As I mentioned earlier: the gun nuts are entertaining.

And to answer an earlier question: No, I don't hunt (I used to but found it distasteful, for me - I don't like killing anything).

Guns, meh.
Keep yours but don't posture as if you're something special because you have one.

Some do that, but most just have the same type of interest in guns as they might in motorcycles, bikes, games, or golf.
What distinguishes the gun nuts from everybody else is not their interest in guns, but their paranoia that somebody is always trying to take their guns away and that somehow they'll be able to stash enough fire power and ammunition to defend a frontal attack by the ATF people (or whoever)

Agreed, O Really, thanks.

I suppose that's why I mentioned "gun nuts."

I understand there is an appreciation out there, somewhere, for guns and the ownership of them.
Most of those with a mere appreciation are fine.
Some are nuts.

Wayne LaPierre and gun store owners are laughing all the way to the bank over the dumbasses who are coughing up their hard-earned money because Obama got elected. They're milking the hell out of that cash cow.

I mean, just look at all the guns he took away the first term.

"Obama!!!! Boogity boo!!!!"

"Whoa! Give me three of them there rifles and 12 boxes of hollerpoints."

First namd Dingle, the one who always stays on point when posting to a thread, the subject is Hunting. So you do not think BS and lies are a good weapon. That's strange since you are an expert in the use of both.

First name Stupid, last name Dumbass, the one who always cheers from the sideline because he's not smart enough to read simple English and understand or discuss the topic . . . I was responding to wneglia's post DIRECTLY ABOVE about buying an arsenal because Obama was reelected. So up your arsenal, twit.

Sorry you're not smart enough to make the obvious connections. I'm glad that you're not smart enough to realize how dumb your error is. You would be really embarrassed and might not return to provide more comic relief.

Do feel free to cheer from the sidelines whenever the spirit moves you. We realize that's the best you can do.

I wonder if there really are hunting accidents, really.
So far instead of hunting we probably have spend at least three days throwing *SS Holes off PRIVATE PROPERTY. When you explain it's hunting season and accidents happen and they are trespassing they look at ya like you're the idiot. It's posted everyplace and folks just don't care. One of the gates to the property has been ripped down and ran over. People just suck. This is the worse it's been in years and the smallest harvest we've had in YEARS. :wtf:

 You were the first poster in this thread to divert from guns and hunting to politics. I love how you whine about the consequences of your own actions.
Yes, he was. But strictly speaking, the Colonel only named his thread "Hunting." His actual first post was about weapons. The Doc showed us some heavy hardware, and nobody particularly cared to discuss killing Bambi.
Now, the Colonel seems to be talking about shooting hunters on his property. I'd be happy to help him do that, particularly with the availability of the NC "Opps" defence.

I almost went moose hunting once, but I hurt my back carrying the decoys.

Funny.
I've been moose hunting many times, but with a camera instead of a gun. Actually, sometimes in Maine you don't have to "hunt" - just try not to run over them.

Butt Ugly. Cannot comprehend simple English, cannot follow a simple thread from one post to the next, cannot comprehend simple, basic logic, so the twist (attempted coverup) comes into play -- trying to make your mistake seem like someone else's.

Fail.

You screwed up. Why can't you just admit it and not try to pretend it's someone else's fault that you screwed up.
