Yeah, that sucked. The one silver lining was that my power was out so I could only listen on the radio and didn't have to watch the misery.

“This team’s identity right now is get in the playoffs and choke."
-- Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey

Ouch.

I'm no TN fan, but you gotta hand it to 'em - beating both the Pats and Ravens at home is one for the history books whatever else they do.

Then, there's Derrick Henry - rushing for 195 yards after 180 last week, the first player with two games of 175 rushing yards or more in the same postseason, set the postseason single-game rushing record for the Titans in consecutive weeks, most yards rushing through his first four postseason games at 561, beating Hall of Famer Terrell Davis and Arian Foster who were tied with 515 through their first four, AND he threw the first TD pass by a running back in the playoffs since 1987.
https://scores.nbcsports.com/fb/recap.asp?g=20200111033
I think the announcer said it was his first pass thrown since Jr High.

I will root for TN vs KC, not sure vs Houston.

Go NFC!

Houston @Kansas City. Go Houston, silence that chant.
Kansas City is favored by 9.5. Too much, I think, but maybe that's my bias.
14-0 . . . . . Houston . . . . . in the first 5 minutes!

Momentum shifting.....this could be a good one!

(No horse in this one, but I'm kind of rooting for KC. Andy Reid deserves a ring!)

Crap, Houston down just 4 at the half, but it feels like they've lost.

Mahomes - 4 TD tosses in the 2nd quarter. Last time a QB did that in one quarter in the playoffs - Doug Williams for DC back when I still was a fan, 1987 SB.

This game - highest scoring 1st half ever in the playoffs, 28-24 KC.

Vegas missed every game or margin big time, except GB beat the spread by just 0.5.

Tight ends with 3 receiving TD in a playoff game since 1950:

• KC Travis Kelce (2019 Div Rd)

• NE Rob Gronkowski (2011 Div Rd), future HOF

• Oak David Casper (1977 Div Rd), HOF
• first team in NFL history to take a halftime lead after trailing by 24 points.

I'm 2-2 wild card round, 1-3 division round, ugh.

Panthers hire LSU's Joe Brady, that was extremely fast.

“I was wrong. I wouldn’t bring him on my NFL team. He’s got problems,” Smith said on Tuesday’s episode of “First Take” on ESPN. “And I want to let everybody know, you do understand, if you listened to that video — not just watched it — the police officers showed incredible restraint. He was calling them the ‘B’ word. He was calling them the ‘N’ word. He was yelling at them. They turned their backs. They walked away. All they did was take the young lady and the kids into the cop car, and they drove them off. They did not respond to him. They did not antagonize him. They did nothing. He was screaming at them and calling them all kinds of names. “I want everyone out there to understand that the police officers at any given moment could have turned around and arrested him. You don’t get to talk to police officers like that. You don’t get to berate them and think that that’s not a crime. You can actually get arrested for that. They could have arrested him. They did no such thing. They all walked away, they got into their cop cars and they drove off. And he was screaming all kinds of obscenities at them. He seemed completely out of control.”

I think that's crazy after what TN has already done on the road. I would take it plus the points. Is this a repeat of the Steelers Wild Card to Champ run in Bettis' last year?

San Francisco is favored by 7½. 01/19 6:40 PM ET
