Is Trump's House of Cards finally collapsing?

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

Well, the Dow took another dump today. I remember previous crashes, that wiped out as much as 50% of American's retirement funds. This appears to be similar, so far. Looks like a lot of investors are scrambling to get out of equities and into bonds or just plain cash.

The only silver lining is that if this keeps up, it could increase the chances of Trump being shown the door in November.
Otoh, he can use the coronavirus as cover for what was already an anemic market compared to Obama's.

Before the coronavirus tumble:

Dow Jones 1/20/2009: 7949.09
Dow Jones 1/20/2010: 10603.15
33.4% growth in Obama's first year.
Dow Jones 1/20/16: 15766.74
Dow Jones 1/20/17: 19827.25
25.8% growth in Obama's last year. 300% growth from the Spring 2009 Shrub low in Obama's 8 years.
Dow Jones 2/21/20: 28994.58
46.2% growth in impeached Dolt .45’s first 37 months, an annual growth rate of 15%, a far LOWER rate than both Obama’s 1st and last years. Trumpettes are sooo gullible!

Shit, I guess I'm going to have to lay off some workers at my diamond mine and my excuse factory. What a world.

What I'm thinking is the raccoon eyed juvenile idiot and pathological liar will use this viral outbreak as an excuse to delay or cancel elections in November if this stuff becomes a pandemic.

I'm thinking that he continues to get away with every crime he commits and the power moves so far right that the country can never repair itself.

But then, I believed that lil bush would be such a huge wakeup call that there wouldn't be another repug president for 20 to 30 years.
Trump: “We had the safest border in the history of our country - or at least recorded history. I guess maybe a thousand years ago it was even better.”

Yeah, I used to think the same thing about the Bush and GOP eight year train wreck but then we had a black president for eight years and the GOP went hard right at the urging of the perpetual victim wing of the party, not to mention how they ALL went out of their minds over Obama. trump would not have happened were it not for how the GOP went batshit crazy over having a black president twice. It brought out the overt racism and bigotry that had traditionally been covert. The low intelligence redneck faction pushed them all to come out in the open.

Welp, Donaldo's Giant House of Cards (like pancakes but drier) staged a major implosion today, winding up with the DOW down over 2,000 pts, or almost 8%.

Of course Donaldo will be blaming everybody but himself for this latest crash. Nothing is ever his fault, including him dragging both feet, howling like a banshee, over efforts by the few sane people left in his government to take a more pro-active approach to the approached epidemic.

For most Americans, it's not a question of if they will get Covid-19, but when.

The only good that will come of it will be that it will help ensure Trump and all his little Neo-Nazi collaborators are kicked out of office in November.

Praise The Lord. He works in mysterious ways. Too bad so many people will die as a result.
He may even piss himself again over the stock market. It's probably what happened last weekend; he's got a buzzer in his pocket that goes off with a fine jolt if trump loses a certain amount. Surprised him and he pissed all over himself....bet it got pretty cold after a couple of minutes because it was not warm here or there last weekend....Saturday. And I still say trump will use the virus to cancel elections later this year if he thinks he can get away with it and use virus as the reason. That is what I fear most. Oh, wait.....he said this will all be over by April. I forgot.
