NYPD Officer Gives Boots to Homeless Man

Generally an unmoderated forum for discussion of pretty much any topic. The focus however, is usually politics.

It's a feel-good holiday story. Try not to politicize it.

Yep; insprational for sure. It'd be nice if everyone acted like this cop did.

I saw that on an LEO Facebook page. It's a wonderful act of kindness.
Cops tend to get generalized because of the bad minority; I know several big-hearted cops who would likely do the same, or something similar.

He was on the news tonight and described as young and very polite. Compassion is good thing and this was a good story...

I've been busy. We had an election and I worked hard. My car now has more miles and I ran into some really nice folks in Henderson County. It's been good but I missed reading the banter. Hope all my old comrades are well.

""I was put on YouTube," he told the paper. "I was put on everything without permission. What do I get?
This went around the world, and I want a piece of the pie."

A new pair of boots given to him by someone who has a heart....he chooses to be homeless.....but he wants a piece of the pie.

What's wrong with this picture?

He is probably just hungry. I would also want a piece of pie if I were homeless. You can't eat boots.
You aren't doing it wrong if no one knows what you are doing.
