I haven't gotten sick yet after my outpatient test 10 days ago, but why can't more be done outside.
I still worry about the elderly volunteer greeter. Why was she there?
I agree with distancing - more can be done.
Should more businesses, government offices and hospitals move some activities outside to the parking lots when possible?

Agreed, but managing the idiots is like herding cats - sorry, didn't mean to mention cats. It's like, well, managing idiots. Lots of food places have improvised counters in their doorway to offer take out. And it's not hard to find one with people outside waiting not in a lineup using distance, but all clustered up in front of the place. People walking along the street, each following 6 feet or so behind, and then pressing the placebo button with a bare hand and clustering up to wait for the crossing light to change. People ordering pick-up from the grocery, then getting out of their car to stand in a group and "help" load their bags.
Saw on TV how the mobile drive in testing stations are ummm "working." Not to criticize a good effort, and it's certainly better than nothing, but here's what happens: You call a number, wait on hold for over an hour or so, and speak with some medical practitioner who goes through a questionnaire and determines if you should be tested. If yes, then you drive out to the testing center to wait in your car for another 2+ hours before your test, and then it's 2-3 more days before the results come back. I'm not sure I exactly understand the value of the testing to the individual, although I understand the value to the public health people. It's not as though they have an actual treatment yet. Would it not work just to say "if you have any of the symptoms associated with cold or flu, whether you think it's 'only a cold' or not, isolate yourself until you either get better or worse. If badly worse, call for medical help/instuctions..."

Yeah, the grocery stores do seem to be doing more than many.
It's time for creativity and good planning.
